@lbmusictchr Hello. Thank you for the comments. I probably have about 30 favourite hymn tunes in my "Top 10", silly perhaps but my taste changes from month to month.
@007vauxhall Thank you Paul, appreciated, I don't mind if you subscribe, you know :-)
I have to say, I can tell when someone has the basic musicality and I think you have.
I used to play by ear, still do to a large extent, I can play many hymns with my eyes closed.
It is a pity music lessons cost so much these days, you might be surprised if you had a few here and there, what a difference it makes if you can read music....even if it is just hymns, I find them a good way to learn different keys.
Thought this was Rob playing, but it is rather early in the morning. Just seen Andrew off for the rest of the week, so going back to bed soon. A good old standard hymn...
One of my favourite hymns, especially the words in the last verse.

@PlazaOrganist Mine too. I am always amazed when someone says they don't like the tune.

Very well played with the usual skill and perfection. Keep up the good work.

Nicely done, and inspiring. I must learn this hymn. Thanks for posting.

Lovely! So what are your other 9 favorite hymns to play? I love the arrangement of this one, with the dissonances that occur over the pedal, etc.

@Regor2010 I don't know without hearing what yours sounds like but here are a few things...
I have loaded the organ in full low loss 48khz mode partly because I was having issues in 44khz mode.
I have slightly "widened" the Great pipes apart.
I have slightly increased the wind pressure sensitivity of the pipes for brilliance and pitch.
I am using an external ASIO sound card with 5us latency.
Also I added a slight extra reverb as it just makes a more fruity sound :-)
