They raised $75,000 on the trip and gave 100% of it to the foundation! Also he could keep 100% funds from his documentary. But Nate being the great guy that he is... decided to donate 50% and then use the other 50% for his next project. Nate also used all of his savings to fund his part of the ride. I know your just asking the question which is great but remember his mom passed away from cancer so take it easy and I would at least give him some credit.
The entire project was self funded. John, Nate, and myself did not use a single dollar of the more than $75,000 raised. Nate had to go into debt for the film project and it's not unreasonable for him to recover some of the funds he used to make this dream a reality.
Umm, is wrong for me to say that I am in love with this video?
