  • I know why it's stubborn. You should try using self-igniting disks. You just touch the flame to the charcoal and it does the rest. They come in packs of ten and the packaging is silver plastic.

  • hi! i love burning herbs and stuff so I think that this may be useful for me. The only thing is I couldn't tell what u did with the discs. Did u put them inside the cauldron? Or underneath?

Also, it sounds helpful because I haven't been very safe about burning things and almost burned myself and house several times. So u do have any advice about burning things in a safer way?

    thank u

  • @magicalsugarcookie yes the coal went in the cauldron to burn then you add herbs `

  • Ok are these the charcoal disks that they use in hookah. we have places that sell that stuff but not a new age shop.

  • @codijane THis coal and video` have nothing to do with pipes or drug use `` these coals are not for smoking !

and yes they are found at NEW AGE SHOPS !! I buy them at witchy stores and new age shops NO HOOKAH HERE `

  • @midnightmist1967 I wasnt going to smoke them but those are the only things i can find. We dont have Hookah bars here but there is a place that sells it and other Drug stuff but its also the only place that has incense other them walmart. When i was getting incense they had charcoal disk but it was for the hookah. I mean they light the coal and put herbs on it. But i have no new age stores anywhere near here so i was wondering if the hokah coals would work?

  • @codijane yes i guess the hookah would be fine ` if you can smoke them why not they seem safe to burn tHEY ARE BIG JUST a small piece at a time ```

  • @codijane I buy mine at a religious shoppe, particularly a catholic supply store. Along with the usual statues, rosary beads, bibles, and holy cards, they sell altar and mass supplies. If you don't see them, ask, they may still have them.

  • love love ur videos!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love those little charcoal disks. Something else that I do sometimes when I want to burn incense and want to conserve my little disks, is to use a burning ember from the fireplace in replace of my charcoal. I just grab some tongs, grab an ember, put it in my cast iron cauldron (filled with sand), and then put my herbs on top of it, and VOILA! It works just as well. :) Great video! Thank you. :)

  • Isn't it unsafe to burn charcoal indoors? Isn't it a carbon monoxide poison hazard? You look beautiful!

  • @mrdinx This is not outdoor charcoal ``Never use out door charcoal unless you are outside

This charcoal is for indoor use and can be found in new age stores ~~

  • Thanks! I had read how to do this, but still didn't really get it. I've been a stick incense kinda girl. But I've had the charcoal disks for awhile now... Now I can feel more comfortable with it! Thanks again :)

  • What a wonderful video! Thanks for sharing this...i have to find those charcoal disks...hopefully my local witchy store has them! You look very pretty :) xx
