My grandmother is tarahumara my father speaks a little bit but he imigrated to the united states since he was in his teens. my father is 76 now. I am learning about my heritage and my respect goes out to the tarahumara!
If they have made it this far on their own, what business is it of ours to butt our head in and give "help"? They don't need us, and we don't need to insert ourselves into their society...
The majority of this charity organizations and religious groups are only interested in one thing and that is:making money one way or the other. Sooner or later they will stablish their own colony of white people and will steal the land by claiming it for them .Don't believe them.The same thing happen with texas.
People call them ignorant because they're able to hunt long-distances without vehicles,guns or a taste of water. People call them stupid cause they're able to lid fire with a rock and sticks to eat. People call them savages cause they have lived for thousands of years under caves and free from diseases etc. People call them weird cause they're able to live longer by these sources than us by our new custom ways. Their abilities are far from ignorance, we will seek for their INTELLIGENCE very soon
I'll have to take a visit to Copper Canyon next time I visit my dad's family in Mexico. I think it's about an hour and a half drive away. Now that'd be a culture shock!

Many whites are actually ashamed of the evil things their white ancestors did to Native Americans. Some whites want to help and give back. I am proud of both my heritages.
