So scarf hold to side control, side control to key lock, key lock to armbar.. pretty nice chain provided they defend that way. I always find it easier to learn in segments and then chain them together circumstantially
I like the technique but why does he hold the sub even after the guy taps. The guy tapped like five times for the triangle. Maybe I'm just being harsh but it seemed odd.
Not that this isn't technically sound, because the actual techniques themselves look solid, but just for the record, scarf hold is where you hold around your opponent's head, not underhooking his arm. This is just a variation of side mount/the cross-body position.
@pyro5178 When underhooking the arm it's actually known as Broken Scarf Hold, or Kazuri Kesa Gatame. So while it's not a true scarf hold it's still a version of it.
That triangle choke is probably really handy in an armbar situation. Lol, you could probably even act like your going for an armbar and let them bite hard for the triangle choke.
That triangle at the end is really, REALLY cool.
