NASA budget 19 billion a year. enough to balance social security. enough for a health system. enough to free us from dependence on oil. this is not a great nation
@datzfast Another useless argument. The relative number is 0.6% of the annual budget. Why not taking something from the defense budget? Or why not reducing some authorities? Does the USA really need 16 intelligence agencies? The health care is already payed with 16% of the GDP which is about 2.3 trillion US$.
America has gotten lazy. Once another country rises up to challenge, I know the ingenuity of a free people will once again push us to new heights. I just hope to see it in my life time.
50 years...ya well we ain't going no where now. NASA's budget is so goddamn small compared to anything else really. I'm putting my money on private companies to launch us forward.
@kirox777 titan is one of jupiters moons jupiter has around 16 or 15 explorers have went too titan and there is water there there alotta ice but under it is water it could be a new era
I hope everybody has seen the evidence that the Apollo moon missions were faked in a studio. There's a partial summary of the evidence posted on a science forum. To see it, google "The Naked Scientists". In the "New Theories" section of the forum there's a thread entitled "Did We Land on the Moon?". It's on page 15. It's the 7th post from the top.
of course not. necessity is the mother of all inventions. though we hate the battles and wars that humankind fought over the history, the wars and battles are part responsible for all our inventions till date.

NASA = Never A Straight Answer
We can view the itty bitty Mars Rovers roaming around the surface of Mars, but we can't view a great big Lunar Module and Lunar Rover on the surface of the Moon, which is about 5,000 times closer to us then Mars!
That's because both the Spirit and Opportunity robots have cameras that took pictures of their rovers and sent them back. There is also a few satellites in orbit around Mars that have the capability to zoom in to their location.
Sure, we never went to the moon, and alle the 400'000 involved NASA Technicans are kept silent and the UDSSR haven't said anything, too, because they've been more interested in exposing the USA than some moon-hoaxer!
The only reason for no newer Moon-Expeditions is, that the moon is more boring than the mars, to say it in a secular way.
lol. i think your being sarcastic. but to anyone who DOSNT believe we went to the moon. many people have busted that crap already. i mean shit you can SEE the lander/mirrors for measuring exact distance from moon to earth from earth/ flag and other man left behind things with alot of magnification. wonder where youd find some of that and prove it to yourself.
@heinz1357 are not 95 percent of that nasa crowd dead i mean they were probaby all around 40 years old and it was 40 years ago and only 5 percent live to be 80. Americans may have really walked on the moon but your argument is really stupid. in ww2 we built an atomic bombs with 400k people and not one person spilled the beans to the press. as for the ruskies or communist the lie about massacars eveyday and even google helps them and that was probably 20 years ago. so shut the fuck up nigga plez
@datzfast Ahem? Seriously? There were only 300000 people involved with the Manhatten Project, and many of them didn't even know what they were developing, this number involves civic helpers, logistics etc. that didn't even know about radiation. Of these were ~150000 involved in research and building, but only a few dozen knew they were going to build a nuke. And since a few dozen < 400000 you're argument is invalid.
dam, when i was in elamentry i realy dint give a shjitt about space and stuf, but know i role a joint and i watch alot off these, and its quiet fun :D well keep on exsplorieng
our planet is not in any danger this warming phase has occured once before in the early middle ages and nothing bad happend.. its like how americans went butt f*ck crazy wit high gas prices when ppl in japan have had high gas prices for awhile and dont complain. oh and lol satellite that was supposed to monitor CO2 emmisions crashed into the ocean lmfao ( i wonder why XD)impossible to be a 'normal' accident when it was sooo important and well funded.
how do you know its a lie^?? all the ice is melting and even the sun is getting hotter in iceland every summer. so i would say there is something going on with the ozone.
its thikening and thinning of the ozone did you also account for the natural changes of the earth, the rate at whcih it freezes and possibly the the sun which has alot to do with our climate? i doubt it
Excellent review of 50 years in space. I was listening to the Russian Satellite "Sputnik" in Ottawa Canada on launch night. Frequency transmissions were 44Mhz and 22Mhz. The 'Beep' signal indicated the internal temperture of the satellite. The 'Free World" gave missinformation saying there was no satellite until March 1958 after the first US failure tosatellite launch.

Excuses, excuses! Sounds like a bunch of NASA headshrinker horsechit to me.
Fact is, we never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, EVER, sent a man to the Moon.
It was all one big hoax/movie. A very expensive one at that.
