this picture has exact poverty picture of all our indians from north to south and west to east india. i TRAVELLED TP MOST PARTS OF INDIA , THE POVERTY STORY IS THE SAME AS IN THULABARAM. MY GRAND PARENTS MIGRATED TO MALAYSIA BUT MY PARENTS WRE IN THE SAME SIMILAR POVERTY STRICKEN SITUATION WITH EIGHT CHILDREN IN A RUBBER ESTATE BUT THERE WERE BETTER OFF THANA THE MOST PEOPLE IN INDIA ,BOTH OF MY PARENTS WERE WORKING TO SUPPORT THE FAMILY.

This film was an absolute classic. So vividly it brought out the life of the poor and downtrodden in Thamilnadu. The song with its wonderful music score and lyrics summed it up so well. Recently I saw a film by Tankar Bacchan Titled Thendral which also managed to bring out the suffering of the poor.

Great...Great..Great..This film i viewed along with my mum when i was so young i think at the age of 6 yeras..my mum used to see always this type of film...now my mum is suffereing her breath just for cancer and i feel this song dedicated for my amma...amma i realise how important you in my life...
