  • @BowlingBallVideos yea all of those balls look great im thinking about getting the vivid or marvel but not sure which one yet

  • Virtual Gravity or Prodigy??

  • just a typical house shot if your talking to me

  • how long of a pattern, how many units of oil?

  • @BowlingBallVideos i have the storm invasion the storm virtual energy and i just picked up the storm virtual gravity nano and shot 289 first game with the nano

  • @LeGItGxJones That's awesome. I wouldn't mind trying out a Nano. I think the new Storm releases coming out look solid. The Vivid, Crossroad & Modern Marvel.

  • I bowled my first 300 with this ball 2 days after i got it great ball 232 300 233 = 765

  • @LeGItGxJones Great job! What other bowling balls do you have in your arsenal?

  • SICK!

  • Hey jus wondering if anyone can help me out. I currently throw this ball at 14.5mph I that too slow for a short shark pattern. Lmk pls

  • could a tiny scratch effect a balls hook?

  • this is how i first came to buy this ball, i was only 13 and have been bowling for only 3 years and now my average is a steady 200. Very nice bowling from all 3 bowlers

  • that ball has a lot of hook!

  • i am only 12 yrs old and i bowl 170s

  • @bugoutbag2012 it also depends on your style of bowling as well. How fast do you throw the ball? How many revs do you put on it? A higher speed higher rev player will always have trouble holding an outside line with aggressive equipment unless the ball is drilled specifically to do that. If you get it drilled that way it will be harder to play inside lines with the ball. Knowing a little more about your style will help a lot into giving you suggestions on drilling layouts and ball selection.

  • @bugoutbag2012 that would be a tall order for any ball. It depends on what oil pattern you'll be bowling it on. If there's oil on the outside part of the lane, you can have the ball drilled pin above the ring finger to have it push longer down the lane and still recover with a lot of flare. As the oil breaks down you can keep moving left with it and find more oil for it and it will still have a good motion down the lane.

  • @MrViktorDaniel this ball is still a good choice for an early rolling ball, depending on the amount of oil you usually bowl on. If you bowl on a longer pattern or a heavy volume pattern, this ball is a good choice. If you want something that finishes a little stronger and want to play more angles and more inside, look into the Virtual Gravity Nano. This is the most aggressive ball on the market right now and can handle any amount of oil you can throw at it.

  • OK, So i consider my self as a ''power player'' i throw the ball at 43km/h with around 500 revs.. also im lefty btw. and i need something that hooks pretty early cuz the other balls just cant handle it. would this be a great choise?

  • i just ordered this ball tonight what would be a good drilling layout if i like a lot of hook but not as much as like the pro's do i like playing like between 2nd-3rd board on bowling lane when its real oily , but has to work with playing the deep inside when the lanes are dry. thanks

  • Hey, I bowl using Belmo style and I'm looking to get my first ever ball. Unfortunately I'm not realy in tune with all these new technologies and cover stocks and cores and stuff. Any suggestions on what I should look for in a ball?

  • this chick in my league throws a virtual gravity, except she throws it as if it were a plastic ball..

    biggest facepalm ever

  • i threw a 290 with a reign! 15 years sooo yeah.

  • He hooks that ball like hell.

  • i love this ball

  • did anyone besides me have super trouble with this ball? like i havent bowled over 210 with it yet...and my avg is 203 with everything else i have. Ive also had it since decenber of 09 i think

  • My coach picked up one of these about two months ago and his average went back up to about 210-220 and he won his division in the 700 tournament here in Minnesota. Also, he is 83.

  • hey im 13 yrs old with a 185 average and am currently using the infection and 718A what do u think would be better this or the arson?

  • @blessthefall14100 Get the virtual gravity. I just got one and I love it. It hooks like no other balls out there, beware of this ball, you MUST clean it after every session with some sort of ball cleaner or the reaction will slowly fade away. My friend learned the hard way:)

  • All of our videos give credits at the end. Look at the 3:27 mark for band/song name.

  • what band, song?

  • 0:52 the ball pretty much makes a u-turn. The ball is nice, but I don't like the color scheme. That's just me I guess.

  • Nice that is the hook i like. I like the extreme angles lol

  • The Ball Is ALIVE!!

  • At least ur aiming is Solid-er than mine

  • Great jobs I wish had the money to get a ball though

  • Had this ball for 2 years. Lost a lot of hook from when I first got it. Can't complain though, shot a 300 game with it last week.

  • so this ball died out on my after a year but i put 500 siaar on and baked it for 4+ hours and right out of the oven i went to bowl and it slipped out of my hand and went the wrong way lol but i covered and threw my first 300 lmao i forgot why this was one of the greatest balls of all time purely amazing!

  • Dam idk how brian does it but he puts so much rotation on that ball lol. P.S just got vise it thumb slug and it is a beast :)

  • I crush da pocket evry time wit da gravity

  • @koryojin I do wipe it after each release

  • I have this ball and it just won't finish like my track the rising ball why do you think that is?? It constantly leaves ten pins

  • Song Name ?

  • Can't wait to get the Virtual Gravity Nano :-)

  • Would you say it requires LESS spin and force? Or is it simply responsive and will enhance and support those longer games?

  • @TheGreenPlague I don't know much about ball layouts, but im pretty sure it depends on how you drill the ball.

  • I've had this ball for about a year and a half now and it still hooks just as much as when i got it. I hope to be getting the new Virtual Gravity Nano if its anything like this one

  • this ball is great i might get me another one!!!

aint bowled a 300 with it but pretty damn close, 298!!!

smh came in to high didnt make the adjustment!!!lol

  • @Rapidfire0408 We used to bowl there. We haven't in a couple of years now.

  • I have a question im pretty new to bowling but am ready to invest in a new ball, im using the hammer black widow ball right now which i like but i bought it used and its starting to get more and more beat up. my question is how does the virtual gravity compare as far as how agressive it hooks etc, I know alot depends on how i get it drilled as well..

  • I am looking for a new ball and am debating over getting this one or the roto grip mutant cell. My average is 175 and i throw the ball about 15 mph Any suggestions??

  • Had this ball for a couple months now. Worked amazing at the start but it slowly dies out. Ends up just flattening out =/.

  • @whispurwind yea unfortunately many good balls do that lol

  • @whispurwind Do you clean the ball after each bowling session? We can't state how imperative it is with a ball this aggressive. Also, have you had the ball resurfaced?

  • @bowlingballcom yea i clean it after every session, and im getting it resurfaced soon, but i did just get the c system alpha max, i love it so far

  • @bowlingballcom Yes I have but the ball surface is a temporary-resin as some may call it. The resin will ware away.

  • @bowlingballcom i know that all balls must be baked from the oil after about 60 games, but a ball with this type of cover stock wouldnt really absorb oil much would it? meaning the only way his ball died out is if he leaves it in his car or something to melt or kill the core. im a learning bowler i dont know much but thats just from my research.

  • @kingzmaul It's actually the exact opposite. Extremely aggressive bowling balls such as this actually soak up much more oil. This is how modern bowling balls hook so much more. Also, this is the reason that cleaning and maintenance is so important!

  • @bowlingballcom i just bought a virtual gravity nano from the site 2 weeks ago, how would u suggest cleaning it? any names of products i can buy from my local pro shop? i don't want my nano to die on me.

  • @kingzmaul Storm Reacta Clean is the suggested cleaner from Storm. Also Storm Xtra Clean will be a good cleaning option. But it's important to clean the ball after each session. Any ball cleaner is better than none. Being that this ball is so aggressive it's even more imperative that you clean the coverstock.

  • @bowlingballcom ya ive bowled about 100 games and havnt gotten it baked so im not gonna bowl with it anymore till i find a shop to bake it in. after i bake it im also going to buy a cleaner suggested from storm. and buy a oil free towel instead of using a house towel. and when u mean clean after each session u mean after each frame i should wape the oil from the lane off the ball or after my games for that day is done then wape.

  • @bowlingballcom hey you guys i was just wondering if you could tell me the difference between the storm ball cleaners reacta clean, reacta shine, xtra shine, and xtra clean? plz reply

  • @epicpineapple138 Hi! Reacta Clean is used to clean Reactive bowling balls, Reacta Shine is to clean AND polish Reactive balls, Xtra Shine is used to polish any bowling ball and Xtra Clean is to clean any bowling ball.

  • @bowlingballcom thanks, i wasnt quite sure. now i know what to clean my ball with.

  • @kingzmaul - balls should be baked only if the maker says they should be baked. A bottle of cleaner and a towel works well. All balls except polyester balls absorb oil. That's why oil doesn't get pushed down the lane anymore. Balls don't hook in the 2nd and 3rd league games cause they lose revs fighting the dried out lane and then don't have any energy to turn back towards the pocket after reaching the "dry" portion of the lane. You move left to find fresh oil when your ball quits turning.

  • @whispurwind Try wiping the oil off your ball after each release. People get lazy and don't do this not knowing that all that oil goes straight into the ball and just simply kills it. Using some ball cleaner after each session is also recommended for long ball life. My bowling balls still have a nice tacky feeling to it. When the coverstock of your bowling balls start to feel very slippery, thats one of the first signs of bowling ball death. Wipe it down each release and it wont happen I promise

  • @KoryoJin i do wipe oil off after every release, still does it

  • hey, i am looking for a new bowling ball but idk what to choose... i am a tweener bowler with a a 191 average. i now use a storm virtual gravity (14lbs) a storm hyroad (14lbs) and a white ball spare ball (14lbs). if any one can help on key points or advise that would help a lot. thanks.

  • Example I am sixteen bowled for 1 year and a half high game 284 and my average is at 197 I throw 14 pounds

  • i bowled a 79 the other day with a 10 pound house ball. i'm 28. i don't bowl very often but I like to drink beer.

  • ahahaha! cant wait to get mine next week =) This ball hits like a bomb.

  • hey guys, it doesnt matter how old a bowler is. i've seen a 13 year old guy who throws 300, and I know a guy who threw his first 300 at an age of 9 years. please stop this bullshit with age and high game.

  • @neffe922012 age does matter....Most 300 games by younger people are lucky (they cannot throw heavier balls - nor can they repeat that 300 or even get mid-higher 200's). Tommy Jones said he noticed a HUGE decrease in pin action when he tried a 15 lb ball, down from the 16lb ball he usually uses - so imagine how much less pin-action you've got with a 13-14lb ball...

  • my high game is 279 with my morich minotaur and im 17

  • Good Job I just got a 256 today with it and it is my third day with it

  • i threw a 289 and im 16 with the virtual grav

  • @pastababy7 I just threw a 289 this past Saturday with my 715t and I'm 17. Love that ball.

  • im 14 and my high game is 245 with a brunswick raging inferno

  • @lilhenry61610 im 14 my high game is 257 with The Ebonite Only One not The One the Only One

  • im 14 and my best score is a 244 with a vibe midnight made by hammer! im so proud of myself

  • @harrypter123 ok you got one good game.

    i have a 220 adverage my best game is 286 im 17

  • @MurfMedia Very nice!

  • Shit, I still use an old fashioned "rubber" ball and I'd still kick any of your asses in bowling.

  • @RapIsDeadly rubber balls ftw!

  • I'm sorry... But you are a good bowler if you've thrown a 900, maybe even an 800. Being consistent enough to do that on any pattern defines you as good. Great bowler, don't know. One of the best, not likely. A good bowler is defined by consistency. Getting the 900 I agree is lucky. Think about how easy you can get tapped or drive a 9 pin. Opinions, everyone has one and that's mine.

  • i dont know man. id have to seee it to believe it.

  • @legaless24 i have this ball. believe me it is DEFINATELY capable of this...

  • @iownu1324 hey i was looking into getting a virtual gravity...does it still do fairly well on med-heavy oil? I know it's supposed to be used for heavy oil, but so is the anarchy, and i've seen a few people with those on med-heavy.

  • @iwasadeum yes. the vg works fine on med lanes you just have to adjust a little. the only problem i have is when the lanes are dry. but other than dry lanes the ball is fantastic. my average went from 146 to 190. it is a definate consideration. just make sure you take care of it and clean it say every 7-10 games. and i too am looking to get the anarchy.

  • this video is beast. im thinking this ball is pretty awesome. you got me wondering though. it might just me a hoax. and there might be really dry oil

  • @legaless24 I can assure you that this wasn't a hoax at all. Read all of the comments, this ball was incredible when we shot this video. This video was done where we bowled league. We always bowled after they oiled for league on a pair of lanes that were meant for use if another pair brokedown during league. This was our typical house shot.

  • @johncongdon1976 was that your first time using it?

  • THIS BALL IS A FREAKING HAUSS FOR COLLEGE!!!!! mine somehow always finds its way into my hands during every tourney i have bowled in

  • ive gotten the ball way farther out than that and still had it stay on

  • Why is Brian not in the PBA?

  • @MrSledge1 why cause he can shoot good on a normal house pattern ? it said that in the beginning of the video. He throws a good ball but at any ABC tourney or PBA tourney i almost 90% sure he doesn't throw enough revs to play the far out.. i mean he has alot but i doubt he has enough

  • This bowling ball is awesome

  • Insane area.

  • the way that second one was drilled reminds me a lot of the nugget i have..whooole lotta reaction

  • The Virtual Gravity is the MOST OVERRATED ball ive ever seen. Balls like these make our sport shit because now everyone can have a big hook. Get a ball that actually takes skill to use please... thank you.

  • @GamerHolicaust a big hook doesn't mean you are good at the sport, you can have a big hook and still spray it all over the place and bowl less than 100, and it doesnt matter what ball you use to strike, if you can't spare, you're fucked, especially on the PBA.

  • @GamerHolicaust Dunno man, its really an awesome ball. And if there isnt a lot of oil on the lanes, its a tricky ball to play.

  • @GamerHolicaust dude shut up, your probably just mad cause you got your ass kicked by a scrub... your like an old timer. stfu and worry about yourself idiot

  • @jroo25 No I just think there should be some skill in bowling.

  • @GamerHolicaust Having a big hook doesn't make you a good bowler, its how you control it. So what if everyone has a big hook?

  • @GamerHolicaust I disagree, I have never seen a ball hit like this and its been 2 yrs now

  • this, Jigsaw Corner or Hammer Plague?

  • @GoPackers212 This

  • @SearchAndDestroy15 im looking for a ball that gives me alot of power, but i want it to last long, which i think i will get out of the Jigsaw Corner. And if u were wondering im a tweener with avg. speed ( about 15 or 16) and avg. revs. I currently have a Storm Furious and my avg. is a 176. It worked great at first but now it just doesnt have enough pop and backend that i need. So if that changes your thought at all... and i like ur picture there. lol

  • Comment removed

  • @GoPackers212

The thing about having a ball last long is that, you can make any ball last long, all you have to do is, after every like 150 games or so, go to your pro shop and ask the pro shop operator to put the ball in the ball oven thing, or ball sana, then tell them to resurface the ball to what originally was. It will roll as if you just got it.

  • @GoPackers212 this

  • i dont get it...how can the bowling BALL effect the throw?

  • @dilah1990 The core and the cover stock help give the ball it's power. The strong the cover stock the more grip the ball has and the stronger the core, the bigger the hook. Also asymmetrical cores save energy better for an even more explosive hook than a symmetrical core of the same quality.

  • Junk ball!!! Stops hooking in about 25 games.

  • @clonewars22 I've had my Virtual Gravity for a while now and it hasn't died on me. The only reason high-end bowling balls like this one die is because they aren't cleaned and taken care of. The coverstock on these types of balls is very soft and spongy so it will absorb oil. As long as you clean it every once in a while(I clean mine after every 2 games or so and i wipe it off with a microfiber towel after each throw)it should be fine. Other than that, its the best ball i've ever had.

  • @dirtbyker47 This is something that concerned me when I got into bowling. I have a Jigsaw Corner and wipe mine off occasionally during the game and I also clean it after every time I finish bowling. Haven't had any complaints with this stuff.

  • @Blobbozar Yeah i was worried too about my VG dying on me but I've been cleaning it and maintaining it and its not even that hard, my ball works like the day i got it and I love it.

  • @dirtbyker47 Same. I've been cleaning mine since about the second week I had it. At least 3 games a week for a couple months now. I think that the only reason people's balls are dying on them is a lack of care and maintenance (like anything good, it requires a bit of work to keep it in total working order).

  • i love my vg

  • If everyone wants to learn how to get more revs on the ball it's simple really. Just get your hand on the inside of the ball, and underneath the ball more. Open up the hand and just let the ball roll off of your hand. More revs doesn't equal a good bowler what makes a good bowler is consistency, good accuracy, and a great spare game.

  • @Dylanb9989 I'm not yelling at you :D Didn't you see the :D at the end? Yeah sure we each have our personal preferences (: And most probably the international release is not so well known.

  • @Dylanb9989 Nope there's a new international release by Roto Grip called Kingdom. It outhooks and hits waay harder than both VG and Invasion :D

  • @Dylanb9989 Mutant Cell and Brunswick's Sieges come close if not the same

  • @kwang22 the mutant cell is an invasion on steroids lol

  • Too much hook for me...im a hammer guy anyway

  • was this tested at deltona lanes?

  • those lane where light oil cause my sauce outhooks the vg

  • @the300man, dude it depends how you get it drilled and how you are playin it...please explain this...

  • @the300man you have to be seriously fucking retarded.

  • just got that ball best ball i have ever had

  • i'm getting my virtual gravity drilled tomorrow hopefully!

    can't wait

  • This ball was great out of the box until it started to show signs of not moving at all. I tried sanding it down, sweating it out and re-surfacing it. After ward it ended up soaking more oil than ever. Still a great ball to have but it soaked up too much oil. Glad I switched to getting a Virtual Energy off of my friend for $70 and I sold my old VG to a friend for $50.

  • I've been working on my game and this ball is great. Practiced yesterday on a house shot and finished with 1299 for 6 games so feeling good about that. Some say this ball is unpredictable but the layout I have works great. I have the ball drilled pin under and probably a 4 or 5 x 4 layout. My rev rate is only about 300 rpms but I can go higher but don't have to. I need potential of energy in the back and this ball gives me that. Gonna get me a VE to compliment the VG

  • I got mine on April 13th 2010 for $40. It was a good deal considering it is just about a $200 ball to begin with.

  • Those are some crazy angle. The Gravity continues to kill!

  • tat's da lousiest ball eva!

  • the angle at 1:25 i play that line with a power grove reactive and a storm diablo it works fine for me with them :D

  • i love this ball i got 2 300 games with it

  • dont listen to what people say about it absorbing oil and dying....i have over 500 games on one

  • ha. i tried de-oiling, resurfacing and re-drilling. this ball is great for maybe 40 games tops. this is why i hate storm...their stuff dies so fast...

  • yeah i mean mine die a little bit but a do so much to take care of them i usually get atleast a year out of them before they get to the point where they either wont carry or move on the lane

  • cant wait getting mine drilled tomorrow

  • great ball.. too bad it absorbs oil like crazy and dies

  • this is why we also use towels to dry them. But yes. It is a great ball.

  • @TheRealNotSteve

well ive done just about everything to my v grav and i even messaged storm and they sent me back a resurfacing process to "make it hook more than ever" and it still doesnt wanna hook.. dont get me wrong when i first got it it was a beast, but not anymore

  • i have gone through 4 different ones because i bowl between 10 and 15 games every weekday

  • trust me this ball doesn't hit like a pillow....i have bowled 16 300's with it and a 900 series...i think it does fine

  • If you bowl series like that, then it's not the ball but the lane.....or your name is Jeff carter.

  • you act like its impossible to be a good bowler....im a tweener...i bowl every weekday, ive only bowled 10 other three hundreds so it is the ball and it was in a span over year so its really not that impossible dude

  • i agree. 300's are impressive but dont count much unless there are on a pattern more challenging than a house shot.

  • 10 came on pba oil patterns in our pba experience league....the only one i didn't do it on was the shark

  • bowling a 900 series (36 straight strikes) doesnt show you are a good bowler?!?!

    ARE YOU HIGH!?

  • Yes i'm totally wasted...lol.

I did'nt say he wasn't a good bowler, i said that if you shoot those scores you are playing on blocked lanes, on sport conditions thats imposible. And if you are really that good, you would beat all the pros. And even Jeff carter said his scores were ridicuolous 261. avg.

  • just because your shitty on a sport pattern doesnt mean its impossible

  • @InconCvAble If i ever bowling a 900 series... then i would have achieved 10 of my 5 life goals lol

  • @speedlimitcj A guy at my lanes Andrew Teal threw a 900, it was crazy.

  • @InconCvAble someone that bowls at my alley shot one earlier this year, he got a crap load of free stuff from storm

  • post some videos, buddy.

  • i thought about it i just dont have much time right now but i might be able to in a couple weeks

  • a 900 your full of shit

  • @enrocka319 fucking idiot XD

  • this is a great ball but ive only had it for one high school season on today was the last day n it died out on me about 2 days ago...i sanded it down last night and it barely made a difference...im going to get it baked and see what that does any1 else have anyways to bring it back to life?

  • yea it all depends on how wet ur lanes r i have noticed it dies wen the lanes r broke down but wen there wet this ball is amazing so get back to me and il;l tell u more

  • yeah...like today the lanes were pretty wet and i had to rev it out alot to throw from 15-4 back to pocket...i had it polished and the proshop guy said 2 get it baked since i havnt rele cleaned it all season plus i also brought it back to factory 4000 grit

  • well take it down to 500 grit believe me i am a cranker i can make that ball go from 1 to 1 and back to pocket like that first guy on this vid does its a great ball im averageing 205 with it im 15 i have the virtual , the smoke, the reign of fire, the jigsaw and the virtual energy

  • yeah ill try that prolly sunday n i did good with the ball all year...im 16 n for the season i ended up with a 209.36 avg. for the season =]

  • nice man yea i traded my friend a rattler for the gravity and a twisted fury solid for the reign of fire i got some good deals

  • yeah i heard the reign of fire is a sick ball

  • its ok no where close to the virtual

  • do you like the reign of fire because ive been looking into getting one

  • I have the reign of fire and love it, m y first week using it in league i shot 666 (should of been 700 but i missed my mark int he 9th frame of the last game) but the ball recovers so nicely and just hits so hard from all angles

  • yeah i have heard alot of good things about that...i was maybe gonna go with something a little less hooking and go with a storm natural because i hook the crap out of balls but it is hard not to want that ball lol

  • @enrocka319 yea the reign of fire is sick. i havnt needed to use it too many times since i got it cause the coverstock reads the lane so well its more of a heavy oil ball. but it depends on the player/layout. mine is drilled pin above fingers, 4 3/8 from PAP and cg directly lined up under the pin. also i throw with 375-400rpm so that helps
