  • i was able to do all that things before but i lost it :(

  • Wow old cirque!

  • her contortion is done quite fast. most contortionists go slow. cuz their careful not to pull nething i guess. ;P

  • Are there other clips of this girl on YT? What is her name?

  • and one two three...Hup, her leg in her neck.

  • sorry but i find her really creepy. a lot of excruciatingly thin contortionists make it look amazing and beautiful, but she is just too boney. :/ and her face too! those haunting eyes x[ i cant watcxh this without getting terrified! :S

and yes, she does look like a sphynx cat :P x

  • how old is this clip?

  • One of my favorite Cirque clips! Thanks for uploading this.

  • can someone please tell me what the name of this music is i really like it its really mistic

  • It's called Meandres from the Cirque du Soleil album "Nouvelle Experience."

  • she reminds me of one of them lil bald cats...sphynx cats? lol

  • she very skinny

  • i wonder why there isnt any fat contortionists

  • i think its because your muscles get such a workout for all the training and you get really strong... so yea...

  • there are a few

  • yea but there arent that many cuz it is harder to bend when your fat.

  • hah, she's like bubble gum... pink and stretchy

  • Ha Ha Ha - perfect comment! So true - so true. Loved it.

  • what show is this from?

  • nouvelle experience

  • i went there wen i waws in america... it was sooooo exspenive , but soooo amazing!!! mum and dad wouldnt let me get dvd :((

  • went there last year it was ah-mazing!

  • i actually have this whole show of this cirque du soleil (with this scene) on dvd

  • woo

  • om my dear

  • that is sooo beautuful please uploud the full version!!!!

  • Actually you might be surprised at how little weight has to do with flexibility... BUT when you are always contorting you will tend lose alot of weight and once weight is lost fat stops getting in the way of certain moves. So the pros are generally at their skinniest. They have strong muscles too, it's completely different to being a weak skinny person.

  • im a contortionist but i quit gym coz they sed i was 2 flexible!! lol!! i wish i just ignored them coz i would luv 2 av a future ahead of me lyk tha!!

  • I don't think she intends to fall.

  • Her flexiblitity is amazing,

But she needs to put weight on.

If she stuffs up once and lands hard she'll brake in two. But if she was not as skinny, she wouldn't do so much damage.

    Just my opinion :)

  • That's the body type of all contortionists. It's not on purpose- they generally have high metabolisms from flexibility training and have healthier diets than most anyhow.

  • what time is it

  • This was presented in 1992; most likely she was 11-12 years old. She is also in the red silk contortionist act in Quidam, which began touring in 1997-1998.

It takes a large amount of discipline to contort to her level.

Give them a break on the music; sheesh, it was the early 90's!!!

  • Celx, skinny is better bcuz u have more flexibility..go to a gymnastics class and see fat ones compared to skinnies...no offense to fat ppl!..

  • el cirque du solei es lo mejor del mundo

  • omygod they make it look so normal lol!

  • Oh my god that's amazing!!!

  • they HAVE to be skinny because if they were fat the couldnt do everything they do :)

  • it's not that necessary to be skinny, i'm not skinny neither fat, and i can bend too.

  • She looks like she's 10

  • cool, but horrible music

  • Yeah! Finally someone dared to say what I too think: Cirque de Soleil's only weakness is the music, which is intended to be "fantastic", instead it is phantasmagorical.

  • there weakness isn`t music u should really try to watch the 2007-2008 show it`s good and the music was good

  • Ahh

  • She's so skinny that she makes it look gross. The one in Alegria had more body fat and muscle and made the movements look less rigid. She even had womanly curves.

  • hahaha..

  • i wonder how long she trained to get that flexible

  • so skinny...but really amazing!

  • She's very bendy....I like that...a lot!!!! A guy could have fun with that!!!

  • Wow, I can only amagine how many people had their jaws droped watching her in that audience.

I had my Jaw droped watching her from the video x.X

  • I wonder if she has a boyfriend

  • mmmmmmmm.....can only imagine what she could do to me in bed?????

  • DANG!!!!!!!!!!! tha's awesome! She looks like she's still a teen! I wish I could do that stuff!!!

  • She is indeed a young teenager in this performance.

  • um dia eu faço isso

    lindo mesmo x)

  • Horray for Isabelle Chasse! You should post a video of the whole act. There's one up here on YouTube but whoever uploaded it changed the music which completely messes it up.

  • Don't you just love it =)

  • she got the ability to bend but for a price...boobs! flat chest..

  • Dude, she was like 13 years old in that video, a lot of girls that age don't have boobs yet. She's just naturally very skinny, too. You should look at some other contortionists--there are tons of them with boobs haha. Look at the Saltimbanco one, it's the same four girls in a different act when they're about 10-15 years older, their bodies are much more filled out.

  • woops...haha sorry yo

  • It's cool :)

  • That is so cool! I want to be a contortionist.

  • wow thts just scary o.o

  • what can i say.... WOW!

  • מה קורה

  • how did she discover her ability to do THAT..!!!

  • I don't know about this girl but in a show I saw they were raised in a school of contortion

  • You dont. You train to have that ability.

  • Actually, performers like that are born naturally flexible, and are just trained to the max while they are young and particularly 'bendy'. Of course, you can train to improve your flexibility, but you cannot ever go from no flexibility to that. :-)

  • Give credit where it's due. You aren't just born like that. And even if you were, it takes an incredible amount of training and discipline to gain the strength, control and technique to do this stuff.
