  • and we already know the Roman Catholic church (Vatican mostly but it's doctrine exist in Catholic churches) is bogus, the pope, holy water, prayer beads, wearing crosses, statues of saints and Mary whom they kiss which is an act of worship the list goes on, and lets not get into cover ups such a pedophilia, why they have so much money, why they mingle with Buddhist and Eastern mystic Guru's and their (Vatican) embracing of the theosophical New age NWO.

  • @Shadowlooker12

wise words brother. thats very interesting about forerunner. thanks and keep spreadin truth.

  • The ones who really have an issue with the Sunday worship situation are, 7th day Adventist, whom if you do research are connected to the same old people within the agenda of the New Age, theosophical nonsense and so on. Classic example of this would be youtuber forunner777, he has good charisma, speaks truth about God, but makes assertions about a supposed Sunday worship law and promotes a known female theosophist works. Keep your eyes open people.

  • Also, just because the pagan Romans gave names to the days of the week which some would call pagan days, Saturday-Saturn, Sunday-Sun god etc etc, this is irrelevant, people only use those names today because it is common to do so. The meaning behind it is not even expressed. God said keep the Sabbath, 7th day of the week, you keep it, the name of the day has no bearing on the commandment, especially since man made up this pagan nonsense and God gave the Sabbath command.

  • If you follow the "Sunday Service" as the masses who claim to follow God do, that's a problem, especially since most who claim to worship God do not keep the Sabbath to begin with or worship on other days. Also, the Sunday issue is specific to the Sunday followers who worship false gods and or anything on Sunday, it has nothing to do with true followers who worship the God of Abraham. The Sabbath is a special day with falls on Saturday (the 7th day of the week) regardless of the name or calender.

  • There has always been 7 days of the week, regardless of what they are called the 7th day is Saturday and the First day of the week is Sunday, yes sun worship is pagan, yes Sun worship exist, yes the Sabbath was on the 7th day of the week which in our time and on our calenders is Saturday, BUT the people of God worshiped God EVERYDAY, not just the Sabbath, and just because you warship on Sunday does not mean you are doing pagan practices. The difference here is in specifics.

  • to each his own-no one there is no right way and new age is about love and nonjudgement-cant say that about christians

  • Keeping the Sabbath is all through the FIrst and Second Covenants....See Jeremiah 31:31...

  • @snojwl but its not called the sabbethit is the lords day when crist rose from the dead

  • @snojwl but its not called the sabbethit is the lords day

  • Who cares what day you want to worship? As long as your book is written and edited by humans then it's not the word of any deity. The Christian book was just updated this spring. The Quran claims to be the written word of perfection but says the Earth is egg shaped. How about worship your partner in life.

  • THIS IS BULL

  • Great video. What is this song, though?! It's hauntingly beautiful.

  • @lovece7 Vangelis - conquest of paradise

  • Outstanding video

  • Shabbat Shalom!!!! (fri sundown-sat sundown)

  • @ChildofYeshua777, amen!

  • How can you have the rest before the work? Humanity needs a day of rest after six days of labor so God created the seventh day. The first day worship is an unholy inversion and its not supported by scripture.

  • People people, let us not argue about this. The person that posted this is merely sharing what he/she believes. Do your homework and you will find answers. Look back in history and find out for yourselves. Read your bible. Do what you have to do to come to a conclusion...pray. God bless you all=)

  • I truly believe that the Maitraya is a Jesuit conconction visavis Lucifer so that Sunday keeping protestants will believe that Maitraya is THE "Antichrist". I have no doubt in my mind that false prophets will arise as the bible clearly states, yet, a Maitraya invention will convieniently blind people of the real antichrist ( Roman Catholic Church). It falls right into the demonic secret rapture doctrine thus assuring most Sunday keepers beliefs. They are superb liars!

  • sunday is the sabbath day. Satan is a deceiver so his plan is to let the followers of Christ think that sunday is not the sabbath day and saturday is. Dont be deceived. Sunday is the seventh day. The bible says sunday is the seventh day of the week. All the true servants of God observe sunday as the sabbath. Man made religions observe saturday as the sabbath. Look at the early seventh day adventist. They came saying Christ was going to come back at a specific date and were exposed. Dont be de..

  • @boywhoy88 you re unknowledge man. sunday is a firstDAY OF THE WEEK. look in ur dictionary.

  • @boywhoy88 You obviously aren't reading your bible. I'm no bible scholar by any means, but I know that if you research the Sabbath in the BIBLE it is definitely NOT Sunday!! Evan the Catholic Church acknowledges that!

  • May the Good GOD of Heaven inspire us all about HIS true SABBATH....It's mentioned too many times in the scriptures for it to be refuted.

    God bless you all

  • what movie is that song from? sounds like joan of ark

  • Praise Yahweh and Yahshua for they are the way,the only way

  • WARNING!!! Don't let anyone convince you that Sunday worship is the mark of the beast, the Mark of the beast is literal mark on your right hand or forehead, that you won't be able to buy and sell without it (possibly RFID chip). Don't be sucked in, if you take a mark, you will go to hell, no second chance, no foregiveness.

  • @2worldsatwar Sunday keeping is not the mark of the beast right now; only when worship is legislated on Sunday! When it comes down to a choice, are you going to obey God's Law or man's law??? Remember the old blue laws where you couldn't buy or sell on Sunday?? Some of those laws are still on the books and some states still have them. When the new world order comes and people are forced to worship on that day, will you bow down???

  • Comment removed

  • @2worldsatwar The hand represents action and the forehead represents thought. Just as God told the Israelites that he would write his laws on their "foreheads and their hearts". It's what we think and how we act that will constitute taking the mark. Just like the 3 Hebrews that refused to bow down to the golden statue that the king set up. And Daniel that prayed to God with windows open so that all could see him. It's about worship! Are we going to receive God's seal or the Beasts mark?

  • Thank You so much for writing back. You are RIGHT! Since writing that comment, the Lord has shown me that the real Sabbath IS on Saturday, and we are to Keep IT HOLY! Thank You, Thank You and may the Lord continue teaching us all. Lord Bless!

  • Great video, but the music nearly drove me insane. What torture that music.

  • If you think Satan is not real, think again. Watch my demon video. READ BOOK OF ENOCH.

  • wow

  • Hmm no Gods words seem to specifically say the 7th Day is Holy. The names of the days came after. 7th day has always been the 7th day. nice try. "Genesis 2 1 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. 2 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested [c] from all his work. 3 And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done"

  • Look at the 10 Commandments it clearly says REMEMBER THE SABBATH why does it start with REMEMBER? Because it was known people would forget and make excuses as to why they are not keeping the Sabbath holy. By Recognizing the 7th day as the sabbath you are showing you alliance to the Creator. Not to any other False god. This is the day he told us to keep Holy and So many people dont even bother to read the word of God for themselves. They are sheeple who like to be told what to do by other MAN

  • @titofan99

Did you know that there was another command, another day that also started with the word Remember, not just the sabbath?

Exd 13:3 And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this [place]: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.

And another interesting thing to note about this particular day of remembrance is....

  • that it too was a sign unto the people's hand's and a memorial between their eyes:

Exd 13:9 And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the LORD'S law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the LORD brought thee out of Egypt.

Sounds strangely familiar doesn't it. This wasn't even one of the ten commandments.

  • Great message. Almost become a 1st-day Church goer when I sought Christ. PTL that He led me to the truth so now I can "Keep the commandments" & "have faith in Jesus" (REV-14:12). So sad that so many are decieved into keeping just 09-Commandments.

  • That is good news. We should strive to spread the message to as much persons as we can.

    God bless

  • @DMRH69

Did you know that even those who go to church on Sunday believe in a sabbath rest?

  • @Myhopeisinhim

Who are you trying to convince, yourself??

  • What a silly joke.

  • If its OK to not keep the Sabbath is it OK to lie? 7th Day is Saturday!

  • Amen. May GOD Bless you for knowing & spreading the truth.

  • Every day is the same. Remember, the Lord cried out "IT IS FINISHED". Worship Him every minute, every hour and every single day. Be watchful. Don't fear, because you will only behold the recompence of the wicked!

  • Every day is not the same, the Ten Commandments clearly highlights that. We are expected to worship God everyday but He requires us to keep only one Holy.

    God bless

  • @overtcovert Huh! Dude what are you babbling about? I hate when people write just to write. You make absolutely no logical sense at all. God bless.

  • So do you accept new age theology? What is your doctrine?

  • I wondered the same, but what about the God's Commandment "Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest"? Isn't it said to devote one day a week entirely to God and beloved ones? But God doesn't state WHICH day, interesting.

  • yes he does what are you reading? the 7th day. Look at your calender. Count the 7th day of every week. That is the sabbath. How much more direct can you get? 1 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. 2 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested [c] from all his work. 3 And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done"

  • @titofan99 you sabbath guys are taking things out of context. sunday is dies solis, sun worship, right?

but what about the other days in roman calendar? what? tell me. sabbath is devoted to saturn (saturn+day), friday to Venus (Lucifer?), and so on, and so on. every day.

  • @eXecutivedirectress

It's only man that has called Gods Sabbath Saturday, nothing to do with worshipping saturn!! They are all Gods days, all seven of them, man can call them what he likes but it doesn't change a thing, to God they are still 1st day, 2nd day, 3rd day, 4th day, 5th day, 6th day and Sabbath!!

If you don't believe Gods word my friend then you lack faith:

Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

  • @theonewillcome

Man has called sunday sunday, nothing to do with worshiping the sun either. It is a day that the Lord has made as you pointed out. Man can call them what he likes, and attempt to do what he wants on them, the fact of the matter is, even the first day belongs to God as much as the seventh day.

Whatever God creates is his, and he tells us to rejoice in the day that the Lord hath made. We're to worship God and him alone, not a day, not a planet, but God alone.

  • @theonewillcome

    I came across something interesting:

Mat 28:1 ¶ In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first [day] of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre

Here we see the term "first day of the week", if we were to translate it literally using the word it uses in greek, it would read, "first day of the sabbath". This is also found in Mark 16:2, and also in Acts 20:7.

What are your thoughts on this?

  • @Myhopeisinhim

What are my thoughts on it?

You know, if I thought you were really genuine I would give you an answer, but you are like a roaring lion, seeking whom you may devour, I will give you the answer you deserve.

  • @Myhopeisinhim

You are contradicting yourself, a few posts above you are stating that SUNday worshippers observe a sabbath?? Now you are saying that those who observe the Sabbath are worshipping a day??

The Lord our God and saviour asked us to rest on the seventh day, he blessed it, made it holy and sanctified it as a day to spend with Him, to desist from our things giving our time to God, but you know better right?

  • @theonewillcome one must understand that sabbath does not mean nor has ever mean going to church, though there is nothing wrong with fellowshipping on saturday. Keeping the sabbath in the OT had nothing commanding it at all. it was a day of rest from labours and work for slaves the animals and the servents.

  • @theonewillcome can i ask what does the sabbath mean to you? and may i ask why you try and seperate saturday worshippers from sunday worshippers? Since we both worship the same God? It is interesting that we are labled for the day we go to church. what about tuesday or wednesday or thursday or friday? what if i didnt even go to church on sunday but went on tuesday wednesday and thursday? what is the point you are trying to make if i may ask.

  • @Acerrak

The Sabbath is the day God asked us to desist from our secular labours and spend time with Him, it is a day to fellowship with other believers, a day to minister to one another, it is not a day of my choosing, it is God's day, if we believe in God, then we should do as He asks us to. Church is a body of believers, not a building, if you ignore the Sabbath and choose your own day, you are not honouring God, but someone else.

    Shalom!

  • @theonewillcome my understanding of the old testament sabbath was we were supposed to keep in our dwellings and not go out? if a man walked more than 3100 ft he was considered a sabbath breaker. is that still taken into account when people drive to church?

  • @Acerrak

My friend, the difference between the Old Testament and the New is that instead of living under rules (mosaic law), we live by faith in Christ, this doesn,t negate Gods ten commandments, instead of being on stone, they are on our hearts and by a faith based relationship with Christ, we desire to please Him and keep His commandments.

They even accused Jesus of breaking the very day He is Lord of, the day He created and made Holy.

    Read the 4th Commandment!!

  • @theonewillcome

Gods law (10 Commandments) is eternal, it is what defines sin, breaking this law is what seperated us from God in the first place, after accepting His blood sacrifice, we should desire to please God and keep His commandments through Christ's help.

Ps 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

  • @theonewillcome

Breaking any commandment within the law was considered a sin. If they worked on the day of atonement it was a sin punishable by death. It's not just the ten commandments that define sin.

  • @Myhopeisinhim

There is only one law, LOVE, this was broken down for us to understand as the two great commands, to love God with all our heart, soul and might and our neighbour as ourselves, this is depicted on 2 tables of stone, one for God and one for man, it is then broken down again by the many teachings, principles and lessons the Bible gives, but everyone of them goes back to the 10, goes back to the 2, goes back to LOVE, true obedience only comes by true LOVE!

    TBC

  • @Myhopeisinhim

So what does the Bible say about this love?

1 John 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

[3] For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

When we allow Jesus into our hearts, when we trully humble ourselves to His power, we will naturally show forth good works, hence the saying, ye shall know a tree by it's fruits.

Come, He is waiting to graft you in!

  • @theonewillcome we see that commandment in 1 john 3:23 and i am glad that you stated we are saved by grace and not of our own works. according to your interopretation of the sabbath, reading the 4th could mean that person works 6 days and the 7th is his rest, and if you view it as what i read earlier then a sabbath can be any day after a 6 day work week or did i mis understand you on this, does it matter the day as long as they keep it by faith?

  • @Acerrak

You said the line, "as long as they keep it by faith."

Faith is a belief yes, but what is that belief based upon?

Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

So if we believe Gods word to be truth:

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Shouldn't we follow His word and not what we think is right?

Remember cain? He thought his fruit was better than lamb!

God tells us the 7th day is His Holy day.

    Shalom!

  • @theonewillcome i understand that but just a little bit ago you stated to me that we should not follow the mosaic law? and in that Law is the very truth on how to keep the sabbath properly as according to what God instructed Israel. what should be done, how and when, and if we cant follow the do's and donts that was given to them then we are just picking what we do and dont want todo does that make since? so is it by faith? or is it truth of the law which was taught? that Israel kept.

  • @Acerrak

The sabbath was kept long beofre any law was given to them governing how far they could travel, this law was a burden, it was given to them to show them they needed a saviour, that they couldn't work for their salvation.

1 Cor 10:23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

It is only with Christ in our hearts, do we know what things are good to do and what things should be avoided, not by rules.

    TBC

  • @theonewillcome

We are unable to fulfil the law without the love of Christ in our hearts, Christ clearly shows this in Matt 5, it is only by a change in us by His divine power that enables us to keep the 10 commandments in their truest sense:

1 Cor 7:19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

when we keep the commandments by faith, it is a true sign of circumcision.

    Shalom!

  • @theonewillcome

To be honest, you have no proof that man kept the sabbath before Moses, any belief you have regarding that is pure speculation, no offense. You cannot produce any verse that shows a man keeping it before Moses, or of any command being given to keep it before the 16th chapter of Exodus.

The bible even says the sabbath was given due to man's disobedience, just as the law was. I wish I could say otherwise, but there are no verses that proof your theory of man keeping it before.

  • @Myhopeisinhim

    H7673

    Shabath

A primitive root; to repose, that is, desist from exertion: - (cause to, let, make to) cease, celebrate, cause (make) to fail, keep (sabbath), suffer to be lacking, leave, put away (down), (make to) rest, rid, still, take away.

The same word is found in Gen 2:2 (rested)

  • @theonewillcome

That didn't refer to the seventh day sabbath. The word given in Gen 2:2 and in Exo 5:5 is shabath, not shabbath. The term "shabath" is a verb, an action while the word "shabbath" is a noun and was the name given to the seventh day in Exodus 16. Let's look at another example of shabath:

Job 32:1 So these three men ceased(shabath) to answer Job, because he [was] righteous in his own eyes.

  • The term shabath simply means to cease what they were doing, to stop, to rest from whatever they were doing. Yes, people also did cease so they could keep the sabbath, but the term itself does not refer specifically to the sabbath, but rather is an action that the people performed.

As in the above verse, the people chose to simply stop, cease talking to Job. It had nothing to do with the sabbath. The word is often translated as cease, and is used numerous times. But the term Shabbath.....

  • does not appear until the 16th chapter of Exodus.

Exd 16:23 And he said unto them, This [is that] which the LORD hath said, To morrow [is] the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake [that] which ye will bake [to day], and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.

This is the very first time that it appears in the bible, and where the seventh day is actually called the sabbath. Showing it did not appear before Moses.

  • Deu 32:26 I said, I would scatter them into corners , I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men

Here is another case of the term "shabath" being used, but it having nothing to do with the seventh day sabbath.

  • It simply describes an action the people are doing, like we would if we say, running, jumping, walking, dancing, etc. God wasn't "resting" to keep the sabbath back in Genesis. He rested because his work was done, it just so happened he completed his work on the seventh day and that is what became the basis for the seventh day sabbath in exodus chapter 16.

The institution of the sabbath command occurred in Exodus 16, and not before.

  • @theonewillcome i never find any scripture before the exodus of sabbath observance in the bible. can you please refference to me were do you find this information, and how do you feel about col 2:16-17 that referenced the sabbath as being a shadow.

did you know that many jewish christians continued to uphold jewish traditions, they kept the passovers holy days sabbaths etc. and circumscision and they kept the law, but that burden was never placed on the backs of the gentiles

  • @Acerrak

Yes I know many of the Jews who followed Christ kept them, but the disciples didn't, that is what Paul is talking about in Col 2:16 he is telling newly converted Christians, not to let those of the circumcision deceive you with these things that were a shadow, he is referring to the sacrificial law, the feast days, the Holy days that all pointed to Christ, nothing to do with Gods eternal law, the 10 Commandments.

    TBC

  • @Acerrak

There were 2 laws, read 2 Kings 21:8, 2 Chr 33:8 and Deut 31:26, it was the handwritten law of ordinances written by Moses that was against the people of God, it was this law that was nailed to the cross, not Gods Holy law, the ten commandments written by His own finger.

    Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

    Shalom!

  • @theonewillcome if you nail the law of moses to the cross then indoing you nail the two greatest commandments to the cross. Love God with all your heart and Soul and Love your neighbor. the word in col, specifically states sabbath, the same sabbath out of the ten commandments. the 7th day sabbath, and the the monthly sabbaths and the yearly sabbaths. he hit them all

  • @Acerrak

Ha ha that is hilarious, you think the law of Moses was the Torah?? The law of Moses was a list of laws that God gave to Him because the Israelites lacked faith, it was a school teacher to point them to Christ, it was written on parchment and placed on the side of the Ark, not in the Ark. The Torah contained these laws along with the 10 commandments, just like it contained the account of Genesis, it was therefore referred to as the books of the law, it isn't the law by itself.

  • @theonewillcome actually the law was the 1st 5 books of the bible caled the pentauch, the rest is called the prophets, and they ended at john the baptist.

o dear myhope he called us sinners, i was at one time, but it wasnt anything i did that brought a change in my life, Only through His grace did i put down adictions and over come devistating problems that effected me and my family, but praise the Lord for you brother I want to see you in heaven! God Bless

  • @Acerrak

Just to add a little further about the law and the prophets. You were right about the law being the first five books of the bible, but when I did a study on this, I discovered that the hebrew bible consists of three parts, The Pentateuch(first five books of the bible, as you rightly said), The Nevi'im, which is called "The Prophets", and it consists of:

Joshua, Judges, Kings, Samuel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah......

  • Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi

The third part of the hebrew bible is called the "Writings" or "Ketuvim) this section consists of:

Song of Songs, Ruth, Lamentations, Ecclesiastes, Esther, Job, Psalms, Daniel, Ezra, Nehemiah, Chronicles, Proverbs

According to the jewish people, this section called the Writings, had one level less authority than that of prophecy, which is probably why when Jesus said he came to fulfill the law, and prophets, he never really included any of the Ketuvim books.....

  • except for the book of Psalms in Luke 24:44.

This was a rather interesting study, was quite the eye opener to understanding what Jesus was referring to.

  • @theonewillcome also look at this if you will brother and thank you for your time.

2 kings 8: 9 there was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.

hebrews 8: 13In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

can you reconcile these 2 scriptures for me thanks

  • @Acerrak

Once again, the book of the law was placed on the side of the Ark, not in it!!

    A new covenant??

Hebrews 8;8 comes from Jeremiah 31:31

For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

The covenant is made with Israel, not with Gentiles, to be part of this covenant is to be part of Israel, when we are grafted into Christ, the only true Israelite.

  • @Acerrak

Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

With the house of Israel!! My LAWS (10 Commandments) are placed in their hearts!!

When you are grafted into Israel through Christ, you partake of the same promises, the 10 Commandments are eternal!!

  • @Acerrak

Gal 3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

[26] For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

[27] For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

[28] There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

[29] And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

    All one in Christ!!

  • @Acerrak

Rom 2:27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?

[28] For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

[29] But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

A Jew is one who keeps the law by faith in Christ!

  • @theonewillcome im glad you brought up galations brother, i think in galations 4:21-35 im just trying torecall from memory that he Law Given at Mt sinai including the ten commandments was like hagar and the promise which is the Spirit is Isaac, and Paul goes on to state we need to get ride of the bond woman and become free.

that is so right the Law was aschool teacher, now we are under the Law of the Spirit which brings us under abetter understanding of God Amen!! Praise the Lord. God Bless!

But what commandments is John talking about in 1 john? He answers that in chapter 3:

1Jo 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

The first thing we should note in this verse is the commandment to believe on the name of Jesus Christ<----that isn't in the ten commandments, and no amount of twisting and turning will make it appear there.

  • So we know right away that John isn't talking specifically about the ten commandments. A commandment is whatever God commands of us. For Abraham the command was to circumcise his son, that was a commandment. Noah, God commanded him to build a boat, that was a commandment.

To love others as Jesus loved us by giving our lives for our brethren was also a commandment<----to give our lives is also not listed as one of the ten commandments.

  • This is what appears to be being missed when people read verses regarding the term "commandments". A commandment isn't necessarily one of the ten commandments.

  • I agree that what God has always been trying to teach us is love, and the greatest love is the laying down of your life for another. This we don't see in the ten commandments, rather we saw it in the sacrificial lambs and goats who paid the price for the sins of the people, which led to the ultimate showcasing of God's love when he sent his son Jesus christ to die on the cross for our sins.

This is why it was the two greatest commandments summed up the ENTIRE law, not just the ten commandments

  • oops sorry for the typos, I meant to say:

This is why the two greatest commandments summed up the ENTIRE law, not just the ten commandments. Sure, if you love your neighbor you won't murder them, but it's more than that, it's about being willing to die in their place, about sacrificing your wants and desires so that theirs might be fulfilled.

Jesus knew the price he had to pay for us, and despite the pain he knew he was about to face, he still went through with it because he loved us.

  • Everything leads to Jesus, this is why the law, which was a shadow of him was only to last until the seed would come, till Jesus would come.

Now that you have Jesus, you have that true love, that real love, the lasting love, the forever love, and through him, you learn how to truly love others as he loved you. It's all about him. The focus is now all on him.

  • The shadows were good in their time, but they are nothing compared to the true reality which we have found in Jesus Christ.

  • @Myhopeisinhim

    In your dreams!!

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints, here are they who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

The faith of Jesus is believing on His name, it is through this belief that enables us to keep GODS commandments, it is you that is twisting things.

Ecc 12:13 1. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

    Shalom!

  • And it's not just in my dreams....please show me where it says to "believe on the name of Jesus Christ" in the ten commandments. It's not there. Thus its a commandment that is not one of the ten.

  • And since the bible calls other commands of God commandments, the term commandments is not solely used of the ten commandments, so when John speaks of keeping the commandments, he is not speaking of the ten, but rather of the commands he gave in 1 john chapter 3.

And when he speaks of loving others as Jesus loved you, he isn't referring to the ten commandments but rather the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, which wasn't even in the ten commandments, but rather shown in the book of the law.

  • The greatest love is not one of the ten commandments, and that is no joke, but rather it is the honest truth.

1Jo 3:16 ¶ Hereby perceive we the love [of God], because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down [our] lives for the brethren.

Jhn 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

You all sit here and say the two greatest commandments sum up the ten commandments, yet the greatest love of all isn't even in the ten C's.

  • The greatest love was foreshadowed in the sacrifices listed in the book of the law. In the stories shown in the book as well, how God would provide himself a lamb in the story of Abraham and Isaac.

Those were what represented, foreshadowed, the life that Jesus would give for us. What he would do for us. What he would do for us wasn't even shown in the ten commandments. It doesn't even touch on the subject.

The ten commandments barely even scratch the surface of love.

  • @Myhopeisinhim

    Amen! Sister!

Acts 16:29-31 Jailer and His family 29Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, 30And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Most gentiles never even heard of the ten commandments or laws, they were guided by the Holy Spirit in Learning

  • @Myhopeisinhim

I didn't say it was part of the 10 commandments, it is a command to believe in Christ, without believeing in Christ, without faith in the very one who was able to keep the law, the only man without sin, the one who our salvation rests with, without that belief we will fail. so if you believe in Him, you will honour Him and keep His commandments, as He asks us to.

1 John 2:4 He that saith I know Him and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar and the truth is not in him.

  • @Acerrak/Myhopeisinhim

    This discusion is pointless:

Tit 3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

    [10] A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

[11] Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

    Good day to you both!

  • @theonewillcome

My apologies, it sounds like my previous post was unclear. I refrain from using the term SUNday worshiper because it does not accurately define the position of those who attend church on sunday. Contrary to popular adventist belief, we do not worship the Sun, just as your worship of God on saturday does not mean you are worshiping the saturn God.

Those are pagan beliefs, pagans who gave those days those specific meanings, when that is not the meaning God gave.

  • Let me elaborate, pagans are the ones who chose to worship specific gods on specific days, including saturday. They dedicated each day of the week to a different God.

You don't believe you are worshiping the saturn god just because you go to church on saturday, nor do you believe you are worshiping the odin god when you have your prayer meeting on Wednesday. Yet, you persist in teaching that by us going to church on sunday, we must be sun worshipers. This is double speak, one set of rules....

  • for you, but those rules don't apply to other churches because they aren't an adventist. Or rather, it's a double standard, you can do it but if others do it they must be worshiping the planetary body associated with that day.

I'll explain what I meant about us observing a sabbath as soon as I get back...take care

  • In regards to those who go to church on sunday believing in a sabbath rest, and observing a sabbath rest. This pertains to how we rest from our works as God rested from his.

But how does this rest occur? Does it occur because we stop doing our weekly work, or our housework? No. That is not the rest that one is entered into through faith in Christ.

  • Before we come to Christ, we are incomplete, and there was nothing we can do to make ourselves complete. Oh, man tried, they definitely tried. They thought the law could make them right in God's eyes, they laboured, and toiled, yet, never really found rest. They kept trying harder and harder even to the point they kept coming up with new laws so that they would be sure they wouldn't break the sabbath.

  • They would even refrain from speaking the name of God lest they become guilty of taking his name in vain accidentally.

These works were never able to complete them. It didn't matter how many times they kept the sabbath, or never stole anything, it couldn't make them complete. They worked and worked, but never found rest from those works.

There comes a time when man finally realizes that all these works have never gotten them closer to God, and they realize that they.....

  • can do nothing and they fall at the feet of Jesus. You let your own works go and you accept the work of Christ on the cross. When you come to him and accept his work, Jesus makes you completes you in the eyes of God, and you are brought into his dwelling place. Into his very resting place.

God rested, not because it was the seventh day, but because his work of creation was complete. Your work to make yourself complete has ended, just as his work of creation ended.......

  • and now you never have to pick that work back up again. You are complete forever.

When he completes you, he raises you up to sit with him in heavenly places. Before you accepted christ, you were in a constant state of work trying to make yourself acceptable, make yourself complete. Man keeps striving, yet never attaining, and never being able to finally rest.

This sabbath rest that the seventh day sabbath speaks of is finally when christ makes you complete, and you rest from your......

  • works on that day, as God rested from his. This rest is never ending because you can't do anything to make yourself anymore complete. You're not searching, striving to be accepted, you ARE accepted in the beloved. This is why Hebrews says, there remaineth there for a sabbath of rest for the people, and that you'll rest from your works as God rested from his.

This rest isn't entered into via the law, this rest is only entered into on the day Christ makes you complete.

  • This is a rest only Christ can enter you into, it is not entered into because you decide you aren't going to work on the seventh day. The seventh day rest is but a shadow of this glorious rest we have in Jesus Christ. The seventh day rest was glorious, but it's glory, is nothing compared to the glory we have in Christ Jesus.

I really wish I could help you understand this better, but I'm entered into a sabbath rest that is greater than anything the law was ever able to give. I've also....

  • received the greater circumcision, a greater one than the law spoke of, the one in which the law was only a shadow of.

I've been entered into a rest that no one is able to take away from me, a rest that never ends when the sun goes down, it follows me wherever I go, and is with me whatever I do. Christ has filled me with a peace that is beyond words, something that this world, or what I do in the flesh, cannot give. I cannot enter myself into this, Christ has entered me in.

  • I believe most certainly in a sabbath rest, but I cannot revert to the shadow when I've received something greater. Praise the Lord and what he did for us on the cross, for without the cross and his shed blood, we'd have no hope in the world.

  • @Myhopeisinhim

If that's what you believe, feel free to keep whatever day you feel is good for you,

    I'm sure God will understand.

    Shalom!

  • @eXecutivedirectress The fourth commandment says the seventh-day is to be kept holy.

  • What does that mean? What is your source of truth?

  • I get my facts from the Bible where do you get yours?

  • Which was first, God's true day of rest the Sabbath which was established at creation or Saturn's day?

  • Hmmm, the point of God's words seems to me to take 1 day a week to get rest, serve to God and devote some time to family... It isn't fixated on any specific day. If God thought Monday, of Friday or Sunday, he would say it precisely!

  • @eXecutivedirectress Hmm no Gods words seem to specifically say the 7th Day is Holy. The names of the days came after. 7th day has always been the 7th day.

  • *He

  • excellent video! very good job and research

  • Interesting how a pro-SDA video is slamming others for their involvement in Nazi Germany.

Are SDA's clean in their role in Nazi Germany?

SDA's frequently printed negative comments about the Jews in their literature in Germany.

Adolf Minck, soon to be president of the German Adventist Church in Nazi Germany, said, We are not unprepared for the new order. After all, we have helped prepare the way for it, and helped to bring it about.

Sad you never get the whole story with SDA's...

  • I am a SDA and yes I am aware of these issues. However history shows us that the German SDA church has never fully complied with what the majority of world wide SDAs believe anyway. For example, in 1914-18 they supported full military service to the Kaiser where as the rest of the world's SDAs were opposed to military service. Even today, most North European SDAs do not subscribe to what most other SDAs do. So the whole picture is what most SDAs believe not just certain sectors of it

  • oh brother quit looking for the blame of other religions the SDA;s are not perfect and neither is everyone on this earth so get over it history speaks for itself.

  • who changed the law and times??? adventist or rome?? note our Saturday here is Friday in Israel!! now who change the time???. Sunday here is Sabbath in Israel..you get that??

  • No one changed time. 1st day has always been 1st day. 7th Day has always been the Sabbath. If you are talking about time zones, stick by your time zone and sunset. No one changed any days. Its always been the same. History and the Bible both prove this.

  • if sunday is the day of satan does it mean Jesus submitted to Satan's day? or would Jesus respect Satan"s day because Jesus rose up from the grave on Sunday!.If the beast is catholic who is the whore woman in the book of revelation? i do believe in Sabbath but its unfair to those who are worshippers in any day which they render it to the Lord..Romans 14:6..u can worship in any day as long u give it to the Lord.

  • The whore in Revelation is also the Roman Catholic Church.

Yes, Jesus rose on Sunday, that does not change the Sabbath. Remember that after a testator dies, that is when the covenant goes into effect, and after the death, it cannot be changed. (Hebrews 9:16,17 & Galations 3:15). Sunday was too late, to become a day of worship, and this is further proven by no follower of God ever honoring it in the NT.

We should worship and spend time with God everyday. Remember God only blessed 1 day.

  • Great Video. I couldnt really hear the interview at the beginning or the lucis trust interview much b/c the audio was overpowering. Still a good video though, God Bless~

  • Awesome God is great to give the truth. The Loud Cry shall triumph and the prophecies of goal will come to pass.

  • Truth my brother.

    God bless

  • What video software do you use.

  • I use windows movie maker to compile my vids but i use other programs to do graphics etc.

  • I've had questions about this for a while now... can anyone help me out? Per the old testament, you shouldn't do anything on the sabbath, but Jesus did. I'm tired of being confused!!!

  • Jesus specifically announced that he wasn't breaking the Sabbath by doing good on it. Therefore he was clearly pointing out that the Sabbath still stands but the way the Pharisees was making it a burden to people was wrong. I invite you to visit sabbathtruth(dot)com and this will really help with many more questions that you may have.

    God bless

  • What about Matthew 12:1-15? Pharisees accuse Jesus of doing unlawful things on the Sabbath day. HE is Lord, even of the sabbath, is what He told them.

  • So, as a Protestant Christian, am I damned to hell because I worship our Messiah on a Sunday? Hmmm....can someone clear this up for me?

  • We should follow the commandments of God. Rev.22:14 Blessed are they that do His Commandments, that they may have right to the Tree of Life, and may enter in through the Gates into the City. We must respond to the truth of Jesus and I know you might have been following what you know for the longest while but when you have found truth God expects us to follow it. It is so ironic that the one commandment that says remember has been forgotten, it was like God knew it would be.

  • I invite you to visit SabbathTruth. com

  • SabbathTruth. com is a GREAT site. This is good advice y'all. Very informative site both Scripturally and historically.

  • If Sunday is choosen by Satan does it mean Jesus respected Satan's day or i might say Jesus is under Satan's authority because Jesus rose up from the grave on Sunday..Which is Monday here in U.S.A..why Chirst choose Sunday if it cause of confusion among his people?

  • Monday is the 2nd day of the week. Jesus respected the Sabbath, not the 1st day. Jesus rested on the Sabbath, even from being resurrected. I see no reason to believe He respected Satan's day. He didn't. He respected the 7th day, not 1st day. There is no confusion cuz the only day He rested on, was the 7th day Sabbath. Thats the only example you see on His part every single time. That way, even us in the USA know not to be fooled into 1st day (SUNday) keeping. ;)
