This was every interesting to watch. I think you have done an excellent job on the rigging of the pigeon. It was cool to see what kind of rigging tehcniques you used. Also the twisted angle for a leg or arm is an excellent way for animation. good to know.
You mentioned in Episode 1 that you spent most of the money on making the music; will you make an episode about the "music and sounds" of the animation?

I hate rigging, so much so that I've not taken any time to create true characters in 3D. It's really sad considering how many characters I've created on paper. Sure hope Blender's Rigging system has features like Maya's Joint system you showed.
Quick question.
How did you get geometry to automatically appear for the bones without going through the building and rigging process?
