  • yeah i've been reading up on it and they can also do multiple excisions to reduce the scarring and not do a skin graft. but thats a bit pricy, maybe its the area you live at. I've heard for 3x3 was around $750. I'm just going to guess it'll be around $3000-4000

  • @TorontoLeafs77 yeah i have heard of that one, that seems so long and agonizing, blah the scar redness was sooooo intense i couldnt imagine doing it multiple times

  • @xxhairstylistx eh how is your scar now? is it too bad? thats my only worry. I want my tattoo completely gone, which can't be guaranteed 100% with laser, but if the scar eventually heals too that would be perfect.

  • @TorontoLeafs77 well i no longer cover the scars with makeup, no one has noticed them since the rdness went away...they are mostly my skin color, they are shiney though so in certain light you can see a little glossyness to them

  • @xxhairstylistx I'm sure you can probably even do something to remove the scars in the future if it bothered you enough. Thats why I'm not too bothered about scars.

  • how much do you think a big tattoo would cost? its about a 10 by 6

  • @TorontoLeafs77 you cant do that with a large tattoo....where is the extra skin going to come from?

  • @xxhairstylistx idk possible a skin graft. i should be asking a doctor sorry my bad

  • @TorontoLeafs77 that doesnt sound fun...it would also leave a huge raised scar....which is why my dr refused to do a skin graft...but mine were 1x1 and were 1 grand a piece...so you can make a price judgement from that....i also got it done in palm beach so take that into consideration as well

  • hey, Ive been wanting to do tattoo excision, did you get it done at a hospital or something?

  • I had excision surgery on my ankle tattoo yesterday after wanting to do it for 5 years. Though the process itself was painless (just a bit gross - I chose to watch the whole thing), it hurts like hell right now (and hurt my wallet even more) but I know it's worth the pain. Can't wait to get the stitches out so I can see the lack of tattoo properly.

  • So did you have to do skin grafts at all or no? Thanks

  • did you pay the surgery finacially every month?

  • i know! :] i jus dislike going to several sessions! and the money. i heard each session can be up to 150 dollars.. that multiplied 7 to 8 times can be a lot of money. did you pay finacially?

  • @TlalocChak well its not going to be that much for a tattoo that small and the excision was $1,000 each

  • i've been looking for a surgeoun to do this method to me. im from los angeles, CA.. but unfortunatly, all of the tattoo removal doctors only do LASER.. how lame. i wish i could finde a surgeon in california who would perform a tattoo removal excision on my arm (the tat is about 3 inches by 3 inches. ying and yang black ink. thanks for sharing this video man.

if there's a surgeon in california los angeles to perform an excision tattoo removal.. messege me. peace out..

  • @TlalocChak dude a black and white tattoo is the perfect candidate for laser, why dont you just have that done then there is no scar

  • thanks...another question why is the one on the left in a circle? I have the letter A on my chest do you think that is will wind up in the shape of a circle?

  • because there was a lot of untattood skin that the doctor preserved because the tattoo was too big to completely remove. it all depends on how big the tattoo is and the location of it, along eith your size, im very thin and have never been heavy so my skin is very tight making things a little big more complicated

  • what colors did you have in the left arm?

  • black and dark blue

  • 1000$? Holly jumping - it's the simplest of procedures, I mean I could do half of it myself (lol, the cutting), although I'd do an extremely sloppy job. And stitching is nothing to a doctor...

First of all, who does these (hospital, dermatologist, Plastic surgery, etc.)?

Also, is that that the minimum? I've got a tiny tattoo, only a year old - 1'' long, and a few centimeters wide. Heh, I was hoping maybe 500$ tops, even that I thought would be a ripoff, but more affordable than laser removal..

  • don't know, every doctor is different....it was a plastic surgeon and you need to keep in mind that i lived in palm beach when i got it done..also, the tattoos were on my wrists, directly over a tendon, and if a doctor had done a sloppy job, the skin would have healed onto the tendon and i would have lost mobility of my wrist, so its not like it's something you would want to do on your own lol or at a discount

  • please tell me the price you paid as well, cuz im trying to get an estimate price range of what to expect

  • $1000 each tattoo and the tattoos were about 1x1

  • Hey, thanks so much for sharing, I've been looking into excision for a while. I have a few questions for you: Was it difficult to find a doctor willing to perform the surgery? How much did it cost (if you don't mind my asking) and finally are you fully happy with it? If you have time to answer, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

  • sorry for the delay in reply....i only had to call 3 doctors before i found one that would do it. it was $1000 each tattoo and my tattoos were only 1x1. im not 100% happy with the one on my left arm, there was too much ink to FULLY remove the tattoo so the scar is kind of in the shape of the tattoo itself, but i have to let it heal more to see if it fades away

  • Hi, thanks for sharing your experience. I want to have one of my tattoos cut out, I've tried laser and it just didn't work for me. I want to be able to get rid of my tattoo in one go. So I'm glad I saw your video, this has inspired me.

  • Btw, I plan to do excision on a tattoo that covers up about half of my finger. Is there a possibility that I may not have enough 'skin' to stitch the 'ends' together and have to 'cut off' skin from somewhere else? :s

  • half your finger? yeah you most def will need a skin graft....the doctor will prob advise against it, that will be really ugly....that will look crazy mutilated

  • I'm black so do u think I my scars will be noticable?

  • were ur tattoos on ur wrist..is it possible to remove a small tattoo from the wrist through excision..plz write me back!

  • usually finger tattoos are self done...is it a home made tattoo? and is it black?

  • Gosh.. that means I can't go for excision for this tattoo? Nope it's not home made. I went to this tattoo shop about 3 years back. It's the colour of most tattoo outlines. Er. I think it's black.

  • Thank you so much for sharing your tattoo removal experience on YouTube.

  • hope it helped :)

  • I want the castle!! That is so pretty! I swear I will fangirl all over you appt if I ever see it. lol

  • Hey. I have a video idea. You could do A Whole New World in Japanese. Only involves one person so it meets your one and only requirement. Do it. Now.

  • 3:30 I love how you do all the cuts and jumps between what you say.

4:30 My question: If you had to ever wear a disney suit character COSTUME, which one would you prefer to wear, and which one would you NEVER want to wear?

This also goes for which Disney character you'd prefer / not prefer to be wearing.. (outfit, not costume) :3

BTW, since I know this might involve saying some worrisome things about your job, feel free to note whatever you need :O <-- no neg sentiments about disney, here

  • i am so confused by your question lol

  • OK.

If you had to wear a costume, which costume would you NOT want to wear, and which costume would you prefer to wear?

    Second:

If you had to play a human, non-costume character (EG: Aladdin, I'd assume), who would you prefer to play if you could, and who would you DEFINITELY not want to play?

  • I can't talk about this lol...one of my contracts.....character integrity.....

  • Ah.. I didn't know. I'm glad you are sticking to your guns! :3

Sorry about my question-- it would've given Disney a situation where it was a claim that one of their characters'd be less preferable to any other.. Didn't think of that! D:

  • I bet Disney wouldn't wanted you to remove your tattoo if it was a mickey mouse one . err surgery looks painful.

  • no tattoos...clear and simple, no exceptions

  • yeah, is it because you're a performer or something and the audience can't see random stuff on your arms? Or its just a rule like most places and they want to look professional.

  • it's because it is their policy....no tattoos on ANYBODY, all 70 thousand cast members

  • okay, got it.

  • yay Preston! Great Blog! Nice catch up. And interesing tattoo talk there. yay new backdrop!
