I don't think it's a coincidence. This to me is 'Sheep' rearranged! The bit from 2:10 on is pure 'Sheep' - this is a band that covered Comfortably Numb on their last DVD, so a tip of the hat to their heroes is ok by me :)

There no exactly similar bands like anathema...Some good atmospheric bands different to each other are Katatonia,Amorphis,Paradise Lost,My Dying Bride, Tristania, The Gathering, Moonspell, Opeth, Porcupine Tree e.t.c There is some death stuff in some of this bands as well..
