I'm a huge Sting fan, but I prefer this version. I love Sting's voice, it's getting more warmth each year! (without saying, when he's getting older... ;-) )

@fidgely You mean the song "Russians". This is the Christmas carol, "Russians" used the lyrics to the melody of that song.

I bought the Sting Gabriel's message in the late eighties. Not heard this version before. More sophisticated but think I preferred the older version.

@fidge39  there is no 80s versions of this song because the only version Sting did was the 2009 version!!!!

@PopCulture20 What are you talking about. Of course, THERE IS another Sting's version, dateing back to 80s. It was included ona CD called "A Very Special Christmas" and it is, IMHO, much better than 2009 version.

I'm going to hell with you for even looking for this on YT. I actually paid for and own this but can't move to play cd. Injured. Almost makes me wish I were Cat-lick. Mary. Sting does it again....
