no. they ejected. when the bird crashes they go upward in a really weird angle... then you hear the guy breathing funny, and the instructor says, eject! eject! and you can hear fantily the ejection thing goin.
sorry but a woodpecker could NOT stall a plane like that. they make them to withstand those kind of things. it would take something way bigger like a goose, but even then the chances are remote. remember its looks small but that bird was big. if this is all it took then we would have crashes all the time. still a cool video
Your right, a good example is that when testing airplane jet engines they actuslly fire dead turkeys, ducks and geese (seriously) out of a preasurised cannon, sounds like im bullshitting but its true and they even farm the animals especially for it.
Well, There goes a 20 million dollar F-16 Falcon... and it only took a bird about 10 inches long to take it out of the sky. Amaizing.
