  • I'd also like to add that they are working very hard to create much larger enclosures. They already have quite a few big enclosures, but are working on even more. I think the plan is to have them all in large enclosures.

I just cannot stress enough that this facility did not choose to have these cats captive. They simply gave them somewhere to live when noone else wanted them. They did not take them out of the wild. They make no profit off these cats.

  • I'm sorry my mistake here, I did not know it was a rescue facility. If I knew i didn't even think about placing this comment. I tought is it was a zoo... I had done more research. I'm sorry. I think it great what you guys are doing. Do the best you can.

But I still think it is sad, couse it is... such facilitys like this shouldn't be nescesery altouhgt that is unrealistic. So great job!

  • No problem. I appreciate your comments.

For the record, I do not work there or have any other affiliation.

I just thought it was a kick ass place.:)

  • I don't like to see beautifull wild animals in a cage ..... I think it is sad.

  • I'm with you 100%. As are the people that run this facility. I'm sure they would rather have NO animals at all. It is either rescue, or kill them.

Thats where this place is different. This is a rescue. All these animals were rescued from individuals that couldn't care for them for one reason or another, idiots that thought they needed to breed big cats, abusive conditions, and even from drug raids.

This is NOT a zoo. No animals are bred here.
