i feel like even if this is all true, and religion is based upon the stars, then it still has not changed what millions of people have done to better themselves in the name of their God. i do believe in a christian God, and even if Jesus aligns with other characters in history than we cannot take that as meaning what He did as false besides, many of the dates in the early christian church were changed to align with pegan festivals, so taking december 25th as proof of falsehood is insufficient

Religion is just another way to get people to submit. The church manipulates people for its own private gains, just like a government. When you donate money to the church, you're doing just that, you're not donating it to God, or sacrificing anything to God. You're just sacrificing money to the political faction you call the Catholic Church. Academically correct but more to say academically mis-directed. It is easy to disprove or prove such topics as reason can be manipulated and conclusions are drawn from what we see or decide.
