In some aspects (Crime, mega-terrorism) it's safer than the USA. In the USA, in some big cities, its very dangerous to hang-out by yourself in 3 am... In Israel, we do it all the time. In the USA they had a mega-terror attack (9-11) - in Israel - this could never happen because of our air-security.
