@gandhi4unow it's ok to feel a bit of pride if someone like JP is from your region/state. example: i am happy that abdul kalam is from TN or that a Maharashtrian takes pride that someone like tendulkar is from their state, not that other Indians shouldn't feel equally proud of them either. :)

@srp112 This is the problem(I know you were only curious but still let me put little hard tone here..)... you(not really "you" but in general) expect to see sea of changes in short time.. Jp is a visionary that doesn't mean that everything happens miraculously.. he can show right path and make services better brick by brick.. it takes time..change needs time patience and most of all everyone should join in the movement.. even he becomes chief minister nothing will change overnight..

India is having a litracy rate of mere 64.8% out of which I believe many would never be able to understand JP's speech. Most of the people in India dont know the difference between parliament and state legislature even educated are no different.

LS needs to reach mass rather than just the elite. distributing mere pamphlet doesnt really help, low cost speech campaigns during non election time would help. There can be many othe alternatives which I dont know.

It was interesting for him to bring stats out to supplement his statements; this is a fair indication that we need more Administrators to join politics... By the way, this speech is almost a year old now and have not seen any concrete changes in our parliamentary processes - even last central elections happened on the same premises as the earlier one... let's hope we will see slow but sure change for cleaner system where 'good' people would be willing and 'able' to join politics.

As long as ppl are driven by fame of actors etc, tempted by a bottle of alcochol, blinded by filmi talks of politicians, and pessimistic middle class ppl under the delusion that they can not make any difference - these are the factors. change them - not by arguing with one guy on youtube.

I said 'not by arguing with one guy on youtube' - there was some hyper excited JP fan lecturing one dumb anti-JP guy on youtube. So I pointed out that use your time to change ppl's mindset in a more productive massive scale than arguing with just one guy on youtube.

Can any one Please tell me What qualities he aint have to become a leader.....I would also like to know if there is someone who has better qualifications than him. He was a govt Doctor later resigned and became an IAS officer served District collector for years and now he gave up those HONORABLE professions someone could imagine and now he is into politics to show us what politics are?
