  • Actually Ringo bashing the cymbal at that point is not a mistake....the intent was to carry additional emphasis after the vocals by using a half rest on the last drum beat before using the cymbal 2:03/2:04. Brilliantly executed I might add by Ringo. If you listen closely to Ringo`s drumming you will find the man changes beat time repeatedly thru the song.

  • Just Fab!

  • You Got to Have Ringo ! Get one of those Photo's from the period with there big ass Amps in the Back Ground that always looks good.

Anyone notice Ringo comes in to early on the cymbal on the last Chorus ??

You have to stop and think about it, but he does, I guess it was not a big enough deal to redo the whole song, it's still on beat. I always liked this one .

  • @MrFerrango I'm not sure if he was late by accident, or late by design as an effect to indicate that the song was nearing its end. In any event, it's a great song!

  • There is more brilliance in the first thirty seconds of this song than many people can manage in their whole lives.

  • Its funny in the outtakes - Lennon keeps saying "Your Face" on every final line. such as "I saw you walk in your face.... you walked hand in hand with another man your face." Have a listen on Anthology.

  • You cut poor old Ringo out of the picture D:

  • @BFBCFTW Yeah, I know I tried to fit all four of them in there but it didn't look very good so I just put the three, which doesn't mean I don't like Ringo.

  • John sounds like and angel!
