Actually Ringo bashing the cymbal at that point is not a mistake....the intent was to carry additional emphasis after the vocals by using a half rest on the last drum beat before using the cymbal 2:03/2:04. Brilliantly executed I might add by Ringo. If you listen closely to Ringo`s drumming you will find the man changes beat time repeatedly thru the song.

You have to stop and think about it, but he does, I guess it was not a big enough deal to redo the whole song, it's still on beat. I always liked this one .
@MrFerrango I'm not sure if he was late by accident, or late by design as an effect to indicate that the song was nearing its end. In any event, it's a great song!
Its funny in the outtakes - Lennon keeps saying "Your Face" on every final line. such as "I saw you walk in your face.... you walked hand in hand with another man your face." Have a listen on Anthology.
