Oh that's why the first episode seemed off. Yeah, they should not have cut these out. Particularly with Merlin reacting to Morgana's return, it seemed like they just brushed over it like it was a minor detail, the way the cut ended up.

I believe this was about time differences. Over in the UK you guys are almost at season four I think? Here in the US we just ended season 3 yesterday. We don't get the BBC stuff until you guys are half way through the season over there..
