Anyone who knows anything about engineering knows that Automatics have a higher mechanical energy loss between the two. Manuals also allow turbo engines to run at the desired RPM to max the turbo spool at each gear.

Auto Supras are way faster than 6-Speed ones and this is very very very well known. The same goes for any car equipped with a built trans with a good stall converter...

@MrZBuzzz95 Stall converters give you full control of your RPMs. The fastest Supras in the world use Autos. The Boost Logic Supra uses a powerglide (Auto), The Titan Motorsports car uses a powerglide (Auto). Also most of the Supra guys doing 9's, 8's and 7's are using them.

Now answer these two questions for me, how many manual transmission Supras are in the 7s and how many automatic Supras are in the 7s? That will give you an answer on which transmission is the fastest.

@MrZBuzzz95 You might want to recheck your facts on the Titan Supra. It uses a powerglide with a transbrake. SW's old Supra, is the only 6 speed Supra in the 7's. Coincidentally it is the fastest 6 speed car in the world.

I'm not hating I just want to make the record clear. Also if someone decides to have an auto Supra that is their deal. There is nothing wrong with having an auto Supra at all.
