  • did anyone else catch the tuba player fall at 8:24? haha..

  • seriously anyone who want's to criticize can go shove it. no one cares what you think was wrong. it's not like they don't already know what happend so lay off.

  • O.o Wow we were like a carsh wash ..... atleast weve been redeeming r selves in WG 1st place two times in a row!!!

  • thehottness08 does it truley matter dude? I think we all know were missed up in the show. Do you have to point out any more...?

  • 3:38 Blatant trumpet sticking out instead of crescendoing 3:40 same trumpet flubs

3:49, solo misses the first note?!3:59, breath rushes the next phrase.

4:46 amazing scream flubs the end and echos for about 3 seconds.

    6:00 great balance, beautiful sound.

8:13 where's that awesome mello theme? Trumpets take lead.

8:25 trumpet takes crescendo too far, flubs.

  • lay off a little, ok

  • Criticism isn't bad. As Pape use to say: "It's the only way we get better" and this was a time when getting better was not only possible, but necessary. Especially when they're individuals.

  • Balance was also an issue, trumpets stuck out in areas that weren't exactly their feature. The second to last big hit needed more mello.

It wasn't BAD, just not the caliber I expected from Georgetown at this point.

  • I'd like to apologize ahead of time for the nit picking I'm about to do.

Timing was everywhere in the first two movements. The drumline and band were practically full beats apart in some areas.

Again with the damn trumpet solo. One can be forgiven for playing a difficult solo, but this is nowhere close. An 8th grader could easily do this, but we still have the solo getting floppy starts, out of time, and phrasing issues.

Nice scream in the 1st, but the end of the note flubbed noticably.

  • woodwinds need to play a hell of alot louder at the beginning and feature. 4:38 looked disgusting. Cover down and follow your diagonals please. baritones keep in time beginning movement 3

  • Its because the timing is whack! They still havnt got it down and my fear is that itll be far too late...

  • That is an old recurring problem, agreed. Remember that batteries think in meter/tempo...thus, linear. Melodics must learn to concentrate MORE on linear, WATCH THE DMs and stop listening to the Doppler-delayed horns 40 yards away. Ya'll were great. Pull together, and take Area!

  • damn winds need to wuit tearing so drumline quits getting blamed for it...at the begginning of the 3rd was our fault but man just listen to 4 hes giving you everything during the ww feature

  • I really like the form in front @ 3:49. Looks like the band is trying to push apart a slinky with their hands :).

Ballad was musically very effective with the woodwind feature.I wish there was more visual activity with the standstills though.

Awesome T-bones, awesome trumpet solo, good sell on the screamer, still some sound phasing issues in the beginning of both the opener and the closer, and indiv. spacing issues throughout. Has potential to go to state, but only if these problems are fixed.

  • i couldn't find it, but i heard that one of the sousaphones fell

  • yeah...

  • 8:24, upper right next to the drumline...Don't sweat it though....falls don't really affect the score that much, even if it's really obvious (in this case it wasn't). I remember G-town had a guy fall at UIL in 2002...so many people attacked him after the show with stuff like "Good job, you just cost us a division!"....doesn't work that way (still got a 1).
