im only 15 but ive set my mind to being a firefighter. my dads a volunteer firefighter and hes been helping me with this carrier. hes suggested a college and is always motivating me. i know i dont know as much as the firefighters out there but i know enough. i want to be a full time down town Windsor firefighter and i plan on being that forever. its not for the money but for helping the community and for saving people! give me a thumbs up if you ever thought it like i do!!!
@thetallguy7 If you apply for a volunteer company's Junior Program, they supply the training. I'm currently a contributor at Union Fire Company in Pennsylvania, and I've helped out enough to know that to be a firefighter, you need to be physically fit, mentally fit, and socially fit. You also need to build a trust with other members and trust that they will get you out in the middle of the night to run the call no matter what the call may be.

Im currently a Fire Explorer that has plans to fulfill his dream as a Firefighter. Im on call 24/7 since I come from such a small town. If any other explorers that watched this wonder, being on call 24/7 as a 15 year old kid is tough, gruelling, but its also everything I live for. Never give up.

my dad passed away on september 11th, 2001 and i got his helmet i said since that day i'd be just like him and im on my way there but i will never because he had alot more in him then me god bless him and the other 342 courageous men and women on that day 343 NEVER FORGET <3
@TriipyMods Dont ever lose that dream. I tried to get into the military and was rejected for sholder inujuries, so I turned to this. I am now structure/wildland fire certified and have loved it. Once its in your blood its there for good

My dad and my brother are firefighters my dad is a volunteer and my brother is working to be a paid firefighter. My dad has been a volunteer for over 20 years and my brother joined my dad's deparment at the age of 16 and went ot collage for firefighting. My family is made up of firefighters and i am proud of them everyday for their dedication of doing what they love.

@hockypimp im 17 and this November makes 1 yr for me at my Local Dept. I have strong family and friend connections for the fire fighting world. Since I was 2 I wanted to be a firefighter and Im going through the training process. This June if all goes well, I'll be a certified fire fighter and be able to do everything. @hockypimp hey man im the same age im a junior and have been a junior for bout 10 months now and i wanted to be a junior since my dad join the FD and that was bout 7 years ago and it does take alot of strength and courage and to all the people that are not in the FD it is alot more then just running in to a house with a hose in your hand or chopping some thing with an ax it is just so much more and some time you see thing you really never want to see so thanks to all that have served and serve.

My dad and my brother are firefighters my dad is a volunteer and my brother is working to be a paid firefighter. My dad has been a volunteer for over 20 years and my brother joined my dad's deparment at the age of 16 and went ot collage for firefighting. My family is made up of firefighters and i am proud of them everyday for their dedication of doing what they love.

I have been a jbunior member for 2years not including this year. I love this song. This is my ringtone on my phone. I'm so glad that someone finally acknowledges what we go through for all the world to see. My captain at my fire department helped with overhaul and body recovery in 9/11. He is my reason for becoming a fire fighter.

Thank you for this. This does actually mean alot to me, As a firefighter whenever I go to a call I think. Is this gonna be the last time im going to see my mum and pop. I dive into the flames not thinking about my safety but about the people inside that i need to save. I run towards the flames as others back away. I fight to save and i am proud of that. Thank you

im 15 and in march ill be a junior for 2 years. if anyone my age or younger people want to join id say think very long bout it. its hard and dangerous and not for everyone. i joined right away cause ive been thinking bout it since i was 8 and half my family is in the same FD. it takes alot of strength guts courage nd bravery. be safe

@hockypimp im 17 and this November makes 1 yr for me at my Local Dept. I have strong family and friend connections for the fire fighting world. Since I was 2 I wanted to be a firefighter and Im going through the training process. This June if all goes well, I'll be a certified fire fighter and be able to do everything. My goal is to a R.I.T and Search and rescue instructor. Good luck to you and be safe bro.

@hockypimp hey man im the same age im a junior and have been a junior for bout 10 months now and i wanted to be a junior since my dad join the FD and that was bout 7 years ago and it does take alot of strength and courage and to all the people that are not in the FD it is alot more then just running in to a house with a hose in your hand or chopping some thing with an ax it is just so much more and some time you see thing you really never want to see so thanks to all that have served and serve.

1/2 yyeears and it is a hard job but you get alot of respect for it and it is hard but one thing you gain is an extended family of others on your department who you can trust with your life.
