  • That looks ace, made me look at hovercrafts on ebay...cheaper than I thought!

  • good day

I can not understand whether there is a second propeller for forcing air under the ship. Or is it made air intake near the main propeller

  • @autosib There are two types of craft, 'integrated' and the other ones. Integrated take off lift air from a duct indeed in the thrust duct. The other type have a separate lift engine. There are two main differences. With the integrated craft, if you close the thrust engine the craft looses lift and stops. With a separate lift engine, you can go very slowly or get up to speed then shut down to idle the thrust engine but keep going along. I have a 5hp separate lift engine under the front cover.

  • @burtythepilot thanks a lot

  • How fast are you going??

  • Cruise about 30 mph 50 kph, but wind it up occasionally to 40 50 mph 65 to 80kph, depends on the mood and having to wait for all the other slower craft we cruise with.
