We named ours Marley after Bob Marley, because my boyfriend (his daddy:)) loves reggae... I haven't read the book, but the movie "Marley and Me" is really popular right now. I haven't seen it yet... I heard it's sad though... I'm sure I'm going to find some similarities in behavior between those two (even that in the movie Marley is a Lab not a Beagle) :)
Love the breed and love the name "Marley. I had 4 beagles Eddy, Digger, Tanner, and Buddy. If I had one now, would probably name Marley because of the book "Marley and Me".
