  • What a nice guy :)

  • man I'm so stupid, if I were you, I probably would have NEVER realized it was the microSD card causing the messaging problem even if someone had told me. I'm getting an E71x soon from AT&T, glad you figured out your problem.

  • is your ipod hurt in even the slightest way from this case?

  • your videos are really cool im a e71 user too. just wondering cause as u said your using a 16 gig for your memory card. I didnt know u can use one higher than 8 gig cause on the nokia e71 website its says there that it can support 8 gig max thats why im just sticking to that. Now that i saw someone else doing it ill be getting myself an upgrade!

  • Hey I am int he UK and had the same problem on my E71, its the brand of card being used, DO NOT USE SANDISK on your E71. Thank god i backup every day, use Kingston bran or Nokia brand. I am using a Nokia Brand card and no problems.

  • hi i would like to know whether e71 support 16gb without any problem or even a 8gb??

  • Yes, I personally use a 16GB microSD right now with my Nokia E71 even though it isn't officially documented in the specs to support it. However, Nokia does officially state support for the 8GB microSD.

  • I' have mixed feelings about the 16GBSD because while it stores correctly what I put inside, I have the sensation it solws down the phone terribily on searching stuff and many resets tends to happen. Another thing I noticed is that often I cant's install programs correctly while the 16GB SD is in: I install stuff but it doesn't shows up in the phone menu. If I take the SD out and put the original 2GB in I can install that same program correctly and it shows as intended.

  • doesn't the e71 support a maximum of 8 gb microsd?

  • hi :) thx for your great reviews :-) Finally after watching your reviews about the e-71 i bought one for my girlfriends birthday and she is very happy about that great hardware (she ve owned before an htc touch .. that was a step like from the stone age -> science fiction ;-) )

  • Yes, microSD cards can be a pain in the neck. I completely broke one of mine. Could not be repaired. My PC would crash if connected to a card reader with the card. My N810 was crashing and working very slowly for some time an I had no clue what was wrong. Then I removed the card and all was working fine.

  • i gotta e71 the other day and your vids contributed mostly to the decision, thanks for the cool vids. I look forward to checking out more info about the apps that can be loaded on the phone. Can anyone list out the must haves for the E71 ?

  • how many phones and ipods do you have?

  • nice video....i love your vids!

  • nokia e71 vs blackberry curve 8900

  • I've been waiting for this video update!! Thanks for clearing up the E71 issue. By the way, I am planning to buy an E71, but there are a lot of phones out there in the same price range and has more features for example Samsung Pixon which is 8MP, add a little more then you get I guess, the Blackberry 8900 or Bold. Is the E71 worth the buy? Or is it too late and I have to move on and get another phone.

    Thanks again

  • for me i think E71 is worth to buy....

Pixon, the camera is beeter than E71 but there is no wifi and it's 3 mm thicker than E71

for me E71 is the worth phone....

  • I'm looking forward to your Headphone review!

  • ive watched alot of reviews about the HTC diamond, an there wack. maybe if you can, could you do a review on it.

    Great Vids by the way!!!

  • does E71 can support only 8Gb micro sd card?

  • I actually use a 16GB microSD with my E71.

  • i believe nokia officially supports up to an 8GB microSD card, it's possible that higher sizes will work, but perhaps the behavior could be unexpected past the "supported" size. So this could be related to your initial problem with the 16GB microSD card being corrupted.

  • That is a very good point. So far I after fixing the issue I have had no problems, and I hope my E71 remains that way.

  • Why have you deleted the video with you unpacking your new macbook and being so happy you swear?.. it made my day :)

  • Congrats trent as always mate.

  • Thanks for update and nice nokia tip

  • OMG!!! I waited so long wondering what happened with your E71! Thanx for the update! Very interesting!

  • I might get the Nokia E71 sometime, either that or the Blackberry Storm. What do you think?

  • I really like your way of reviewing ;)

  • this was a good video. i try to watch all of them!

  • u should try the invisible shield, its a pain to get on, but for scratch resident, its great, im seriously looking forward to the headphone review!!!

  • Great Vid man!

  • Great video. Im just wondering, wat price did you get your 16gig micro sd card at? I just want to know the best price I can get one at.

  • I believe I paid a little over $100 at Best Buy for my 16GB card. As of right now, it is $100 at the online store for Best Buy. Best prices may be located on Amazon, but you can also check Pricegrabber online as well.

  • Great review! Very impressed!
