This is why music of the 80's sounded better.....the musicians were inspired by their keyboards. Nowadays, producers just used crappy Fantoms and Tritons and use crap samples.....which has led to incredibly dull songs.
its just a pity that dvd wasnt out then to hear the full sound as vhs has really low sound quality so you lose the full range of sound as this guy is good as what he had to use back then and looking back how far things have come
I love this clip, even though it was recorded in '89 it sounds SO 1986! I always wanted to hear the V-50 in action, nice sound, kind of like the TX81z!
This guy sure can play and capture a performance every take. The sequencer had the best STEP input feature I have ever used, so intuitive and easy to change note value as you go without leaving the record mode. Great in built rhythm composer and pattern chaining to build up the whole track.
awesome vid!! fantastically awesome!!
the v50 blows my dx11 out of the water with he extra onboard goods..but i knew that.
i just use another sequencer other kb's ..but the V50 is the best of yamaha in the series.
thanks for an inspiring vid! go FM!!!!

Compare this to the "sophistication" of today's iPod/iPad users.

"The Finer Things" by Steve Winwood! That's what this song reminds me of, especially that lead sound.
