  • I love the beat and the drums! :D Is there a special names for the drums?

  • @Chanelarponen the instrumen is called "darbuka" in turkish.very popular instrumend in turkey and the middle east.

  • @turbocemal It's awesome! :D

  • It's not turkish! Is arabic....and it's amazing:x

  • @Dorintsa actually its Turkish because the Turkish belly dance attached only darbuka but Arabic style attached something i dont know what name is :D:D if u wanna see arabic here it is (watch?v=TsiQq9hOZU8) :)

  • @Dorintsa turkish is a secular arabic country

  • @iluvjesusandunicorns turkey IS NOT A SECULAR ARABIC COUNTRY.

turkey is turkey and turks are NOT arabs and they do not speak arabic.

the only similarity turks & arabs have is that the majority of turks are muslim. that's it.

  • @nuneh Actually, Turkish language didn't exist for a long while and they used Arabic as the vernacular until it came into being. The only reason they even have their own language is because some ruler was determined to show that, while Turkey is part of the Middle East, it was not an Arabic nation. You are correct that Turks are not Arabs, but they are more closely connected than a simple religion.

  • @Kenderchild

turks are asian by origin (and not semitic like arabs). the only reason they spoke arabic before ataturk was because of arab conquests & the borrowed words remained due to arabs within the ottoman empire.

with respect, how else are they similar?

  • @nuneh u are dumm...real turks livin in central asia and they even look diffrent then u :)

im an arab from turkey and most of the turks who thinks they are turkish they are wrong....u all arabic...there was dna a test on people in turkey and most of them are arabic :) dont believe everything what ur atatürk teached u .)

  • @Mahalamiya5000 hahaha, we see who is dumb.

    I'M NOT TURKISH, YOU IDIOT.

the reason why you see turks in turkey who look non-asian is because they have mixed with persians, armenians, greeks, arabs, and kurds.

if you want to see what turkish blood looks like, go to kazakhstan.

also, learn some manners. don't call people "dumm" when you are clearly the uneducated one.

  • @nuneh u are armenian wannabe mid easterns :) and there is no genocide against armenians from turks....respeckt that :)

  • @Mahalamiya5000 wow. ur stupid

first u say that turks are arabs

then u say armenians are wannabe "mid-easterns"

you sad, sad, source of pity: armenians have had their nation since 2492 BC. Armenia is one of the five oldest countries in the world & the 1st christian nation in the world. along with the greeks & assyrians, we were the starters of civilization

why would armenians want to be "wannabe mid easterns"? were caucasian

tell me 1 "mid eastern" group that has thrived as long as armenia

  • @nuneh

are u silly? im an arab from turkey....do u know mardin? im an arab from mardin!

and maybe u are one of the oldest culture but now the days there is no assyrian and the greeks have no money for food and the armeninas also the same :) i think in 50-100 years there will be no greek, armenian and assyrian :)

  • @Mahalamiya5000

    1) you would be a horrible psychic.

    2) it says a lot about you as a person, since you seem to gain some kind of pleasure from what you wrote about.

  • @nuneh thats the reality :)

  • @Mahalamiya5000 its hard to take lessons about reality from someone who thinks that turks are arabs and that armenians are "wannabe mid easterns"... hahaha

  • @nuneh u are so dumm...i say im an arab from turkey! in turkey lives also arabs u fool...and turks are close to arabs we are one family!

  • im a proud white redneck and i love this music !!

  • this is arabic music and also maybe turkey, as arabs and turkish shared great long history for over 800 years. and have similer and close culture. thanks for all who love this music and i am on top of them, and thanks for TheAdvocate85 as he or she sayes exactly what i feel. ppl come to youtube to insult and hate each other with no respect of others feelings or point of veiw.

  • @Shahrazad00 i think it's turkish, because it's a bit slower than arabic solos. but still it's very very very beautiful! yes, turkish people share a lot with arabic people, mainly through ottoman empire and common religion. i love both cultures.

  • Seriously... Why is everyone saying... I'm from whatever... and I like this song. Just enjoy this song... It's not something amazong that you like it and you're from other country :P

  • I love and enjoy this music so much! and I AM FROM PUERTO RICO. Puerto Rico has moor/spanish taino and black mixture of races! some ignorant rednecks doesn't know the difference between a slapstick and a dipstick. live love and laugh and relaaaaaaaxxxx! merry xmas

  • I like the music. I'm from the Balkans and can relate. In fact, I listen and enjoy Hebrew, Arabic, Turkish, Serbian, Greek, Latin, Hindi music. Rap is crap, regardles from where it comes from!!! Having idiots hoping around like monkeys, knuckle-dragging on stage, that is pathetic. Call me racist, I could not give a rat's ass!

  • Again, some of you people throwing insults here about different cultures need to be cultured and seriously need to get a fucking life. If you have the worlds time to come on here cuss and nothing else then really you have nothing in your life and need to FUCK OFF.

  • It is not turkish, it's musicians of the Nile! The songs name is Zahrafat Al Sa'id (Rejoicing In Upper Egypt)

  • I love, love this music. I am Caucasian, although I do carry Rajput Indian DNA, as well as northern Egyptian DNA. I am very, very fair, and I LOVE belly dancing. I took lessons from some Middle Eastern women. It's very, very sacred.

  • @egyption0ghetto in Turkey there were a group who performs belly dance and it was called Mezdeke. Maybe the music or the rhythms are similar, cuz we both have similar and mixed cultures, and I think it shouldn't be bother us who invented the belly dance let's enjoy the music part :):)

  • @transcarib Its turkish and name of the instrument or better said the drum is Darbuka

  • @transcarib Its turkish and name of the instrument or better said the drum is Darbuka

  • ppl who revert to nationalism, fascism are insecure and thats their way of expressing it. to belong to a nation or race and to grade others as something else makes them believe their 'less' secure and serves their pitty image. arabs and turks are the last ppl on earth who should be fighting about these issues. arabs live in arab countries and turks in turkey. you both share 1000 years of history and culture and religion... learn to get along with those facts.

  • Wow what was the comment that got you guys all fired up? This music is absolutely wonderful. I am a belly dancer and a drummer here in north central Canada. I can dance it really good but I am still having problems learning to drum the way I want. My drum instructor just says that I have to become one with the metronome.

  • Thank you!!!!

  • drum beat is exceptional..... thank you for sharing....

  • I Love this song. I'm from Morocco (Fas)

  • i cant agree more with u my friend..more ower to u...!!

  • one love

  • I'm south eastern asian and really? I think these comments are stupid. Arguing over this, over that. I listen and love this kind of music! Natural beats, and just makes you want to dance. Who needs words? Beats express themselves. I even belly dance and practice bollywood style of dance just to be able to express my love for this music :) And well, dance for fun too.

  • Im WHITE and I love this music! cant we just appreciate the beauty of it?

  • @ashawee92 well said lol

  • @ashawee92 You are white?... No such thing. You are a human from Earth. Look everyone, we are all descendants of Africa and spread across the world. Over time, different cultures developed as well as languages. We get our skin color from "Melanin" which is produced when UV Rays damages our DNA to protect us from the sun.

  • @ashawee92 And I'm green ;) Can we stop suggesting anything and just try to find a common language of dance :)

  • I am looking at all these racist comments and I'm shaking my head. I'm from India, and where we come from we invite everyone to our culture maybe you all know that BOLLYWOOD is a WORLD HIT now. It's because we're not racist. Why do you all come here to YouTube insult each other and call one another hurtful names? Just come here and learn to enjoy the music like everyone else. Stop hating and fighting. And by the way, it's 2010 people, not year 200 there's a difference-GET WITH THE PROGRAM.

  • @TheAdvocate85 I quite agree with you.It is sad that people just can't enjoy the music without bringing race or religion into it.

I can't stand reading all the ignorant stupid comments people post what a waste of time even posting them.I wish someone would come and delete them!!!!

  • @TheAdvocate85 i LOVE bollywood the music dancing and also those wonderful colorful costumes!!! *wish hollywood would get exciting!!!*

  • @TheAdvocate85 I haven't really heard of it being a world hit, have barely seen any movies at all. Why always put the racism in the picture?Seriously It's tiresome to hear all people complaning racism all the time, get the definition of it, s'il vous plait.

  • @TheAdvocate85 i love indian culture a lot i hope come to india some day soon!! <3<3

  • @TheAdvocate85 Bollywood is a batch of low-talent shit, for the most part. It's a "hit" now only because the New World Order is behind you! Wait until the dollar collapses in a few years and the U.S. can no longer even pay its interest on its national debt! Then they won't be ABLE to support your low-talent shit anymore!

  • @TheAdvocate85 good point !!!

  • @TheAdvocate85

I completely agree with you, ur and ur people r alwas wise and kind, i think music can make us closer in a world full with war and heat, i'm from Mexico and really love this music, Love is what world need, Let's fall in love wit MUSIC, Let's make LOVE not war :) :P

  • @TheAdvocate85 Well said!!!

  • I'm 14, from the UK, White, And I ABSOLOUTLY love this music! Live and let live people :/

  • Great song! Thanks for sharing!

  • I was born in Cairo, Egypt, delivered by King Farouks Dr. Magdi. I lived in Maadi and our next door neighbor was King Farouks sister Fawzia who was also the wife of the Shaw of Iran. I love this kind of music ; I am white with blond hair and blue eyes and do not understand why this music has to become a RACE issue. There seem to be as before sadly, a lot of Morons out there that cannot think good thoughts.....Grow up before its too late !

  • @nedarc so true :)

  • Amazing sounds. .... i feel like every haur on my body stand up! :)

  • I'm Sorry To Say This But ... This ISnt Turkish.. This Is 100% Arab .. :)

This is Sang in old egyptian filims over and over .... Great Belly Dancers have come out from the Arab world inspired by these magnificent songs .. :) ...

Peace ... Luv Both Arab And Turkish Civilizations :)

  • @egyption0ghetto

hehe think this Mezdeke bit older then you old film maby like 1000 yer old? =P

  • i lived in the sinai desert for two years before tourism spoilt it.i used to spend nights under the stars dancing with the bedouin.i was born to dance to this music....love it! english and christian but to me there are no barriers it is what you feel inside.there is only one god...just the way we perceive him is different...so what...should i not like this music because it is the music of my so called enemy...i don't think so...peace

  • @melikeit7 i love this music too its amasing for dancin

  • It's the culture we should all be appreciating. Have an open mind to foreign customs around you.. the cymbals, the middle-eastern percussions, the tom toms.. it's all so inviting!

  • Love. From U.S.A.

  • Where's the dancing???? There is only music!

  • @DedicatedLYING, It is a lie to say that Muhammad was from the Quaish tribe for you cannot explain the lie of Muhammad that he was also a descendant of Ishmael who, according to the Bible, was an Ishmaelite. 0 Abraham gave rise to the: 1]Israelite as a nation of Allah; 2]Ishmaelite; 3]Midianite; 4]Edomite & 5]BUT ARAB never ! Descendants of Ishmael, according to the Bible, are known as Ishmaelites & not Hebrew. 0 Muhammad LIED that he was an Arab & an Ishmaelite! 2 fathers? AMEN

  • Man..I luv this jam I subbed

  • try listening to Asam Ali...shes really good too. Niyaz :)

  • i love both arabic and turkish belly dancing music

  • I would think the that actual DNA is So intermingled in the world that racism would not be an issue any more. It is cultural-ism one culture being "better" then another. If you believe the old testament- we are all Jews- excepted maybe Native Americans.

I quote " You don't let Jews in your bar? You racist bastard"- Achmed the Dead Terrorist.

  • @shadowstalker55 Abraham was the father of Isaac and Ishmeal... From Ishmeal came all the arabs, from Isaac came all the Jews therefore that was the beagining of the jews therefore it's impossible to say that we all came from Jews in the beagining u do realize that there are languages out there that are much older than any semitic language such as languages that are spoken in the caucasus area ... but it's safer to say we all came from Adam but hey no one wants to acknowledge that unfortunetly

  • Nice song ^^ Think I might practice to it ^^

  • beautiful.

truly relaxes my body and mind

  • racism ??????????? do you still have it , till this time people ....hahahahaha we left it since 1000 year ago you real sad
