Even though I love the Gran Turismo and Forza series, I find Dirt to be the only one to actually have good car damage! Forza's car damage just looks so fake, but this one is actually realistic!

Dirt 1 rocks on the Three Sixty! (looks wierd spelled out) made the 360 shine. Great game.

i love it! the bestest rally and off road motorsport game ie ever played so far in my life! im pretty good at the game. im a pro am and a bit of pro difficulties at the mo. i cant wait until it play the gmae online which will be soon i hope! ive completed the game about 50/60% on caraer mode. [im rubbish at spelling] lol!!

@esenciararo08 I agree, I wish Mark would go back to doing reviews like this because I like his mellow style. His voice is soothing and it makes watching these reviews welcoming. His reviews in the past year and a half is way too hyper and I haven't watched many of them because of the hyper delivery. He also talks really flashy or fancy now, kind of gimmicky and scripted where as in these reviews, he talked normal as if he's talking to you as a friend.

Hell, that would be better than all the redneck racing crap in Dirt 1 and 2. At least most of Dirt 1 was point-to-point and proper rally races, but I despised the truck, buggy, and SUV races. And now Dirt 2 is MOSTLY those races. Ugh. I just want point to point, thank you very much. I wouldn't give a fuck if they were on Mars, as long as they were there.

The graphical style is way too 'brownish' for my taste. I guess they're trying for a sepia effect, but I wish they would have left an option to remove it. It distracted me so badly I couldn't play much of this game at all.

DIRT is something like McDonalds - it's big, it looks nice and it's easy to handle. I like that there are lots of cars and overall it's really fun simple game. Of course, it's not a simulation so you almost never have to brakebefore corners, there is no snow and rain doesn't seem to make any difference. And quite short also, I got to top of the career mode in about 4 hours of driving.

DiRT 2 should be great. There is going to be a little more of the crossover ralley events on the game because of the growth of that series, but same game play. But they should put some James Bond move in the game to were it makes the hill climb more fun. Great review.

Third, You didn't mention the crappy online play. This game was an incredible single player experience but the on-line play was shamefull an obvious after thought. Codemaster kinda made up for it in GRID hopefully it will be even better in DIRT 2 out in Septembre 2009! Hint to codemaster... check out Ralliesport challenge 2 on-line play!

A couple of points for people who like this game.

First, You mention Colin Mcrae in part 1, This is actually a sequel to the Colin Mcrae Rally series wich was pretty much the best one out there excluding Ralliesport Challenge 2 (the best rally game ever)

Second, those so called delivery trucks for those who are not fans of rally, are actually support trucks in the Dakar rally. Yes these mofos also race the support trucks.
