No the facts go like this, as seen in the movie October. Lenin came out of exile to Russia and was welcomed by thousands of workers. This came as a bit of a suprise, Lenin's movement was popular, but no idea it was so popular. The in following period they worked to organize workers, strikes, and other actions. Finally they planned to take over points in the city of Petrograd. The winterpalace was sieged and the provisional government stepped down. It was an centrale organized revolution.

This is a movie by the famous Soviet director Sergei Eisenstein. A depiction of the OctoberRevolution of 1917 in Russia, were the Bolsheviks overtrough the provisional government under the corrupt Kerensky. Which came to power after the Czar stepped down because of treat of revolution. The government that came in its place just went on like the old. Kept waging war, kept exploitation, kept the power to the nobels and church. The Bolsheviks made an end to it and later founded the Soviet Union.
