  • Glad the cream worked for you. It's always a bit scary to self-inject first time, but it definitely gets easier the more times you do it.

  • how much did the cream stuff cost?

  • @avantgarde93 Shouldn't cost that much, few bucks unless your prices are ridiculous over there (- det är receptfri salva här, xylocain heter den, sånt man har på myggbett typ..)

  • @viewhue do you need a prescription for it?

  • @avantgarde93 nope, it's about the most regular pain-numbing cream you can get, at least here.. like I said, you use it for mosquito bites, or small burns...

  • @viewhue alriiight, i might have to look into that hah

  • @avantgarde93 I paid 10 bucks. After insurance covered most of it though. this is just for the cream, the T cost more (obviously). I saw your video (insert creepy stalker-ness here) and I noticed your needles were a 22 gauge. I use a 25, and I've only heard of people using your size to draw. It might be a good idea to look into getting smaller needles, I hear the bigger ones hurt more.

  • @kyintees that's not bad

hahah that's not stalker-ish lol. dw.

and that's what stroheckers sent me. i know most people that use stroheckers use the 22 guage needles. they don't look too big though. if it hurts too much after my first injection, i'll prob go get some 25 guage ones then instead. thanks for the advice!

  • @kyintees also the 22 guages look really small to draw up in.. i feel like it'd take forever. if you look at the 18 guage ones, they look HUGE hahah

  • @avantgarde93 if you warm up the T in your hands (or sticking it in a warm spot such as an armpit, I put it between my legs while I prep everything else) it will draw faster. I draw 1 ml with a 25 gauge and it doesn't take that long. If i remember to warm up the bottle first.

  • Nice, I might have to look into that. How much does it cost?

  • @fateofmind05 my insurance paid for it, so it only cost about 10 bucks out of pocket. But i wonder if oragel type stuff would work the same? If you cant get the prescription stuff cheap. I'm telling you, it was a godsend!

  • @kyintees PS I promise I'm not trying to scare you. I just want to make sure you are able to do it on your own. The pain of the needle breaking the skin was what did me in for a while, so if you have ANY type of nervousness around needles, I would try to get a smaller gauge (higher number). And a topical gel/cream. Talk to your doctor, they might be able to recommend something to you that is inexpensive. And let me know if you need any advise about anything! I'm always happy to help :D
