It was really a letdown that this wasn't on the Unreal soundtrack that came with the Anthology. Wish this was one of those discs I could play in my car (like some other dvd rom games).
I can't quite put my finger on why I like Unreal series so much. I think it's the combination of Amiga MOD / XM style music and amazing graphics that seemed ahead of their time (back in the late '90s) made me feel like I was witnessing videogame history being made. Furthermore the music helps suspend my disbelief and takes me to those far-away, beautiful places reflected in those levels. Thanks for uploading this song, it brings back memories.
I think it was meant to be a main theme back in '97. 0:00-0:27 is probably by MCA, and it seems to be the part where the titles would originally appear.

Beautiful music...Hypnotic.... Sounds great on my home surround system with my large mains and 2 subwoofers. It is just plain silly that this track was not included on the Music CD that came with the Unreal Anthology package. I did the same thing you did, recorded it myself - never thought to look on Youtube 1st. Thanks for sharing this with everyone. I added to my favorites. I may eventually go back and do a longer, looping recording of this that fades out for a cleaner ending. Or maybe not.
@smokethapimp Yeah, It really bugged me that I could hear the song throughout the installation but it was nowhere to be seen on the additional Music CD. Also, sounds like a good idea! :)
hey can someone help me i bought unreal anthology and installed unreal tournament classic and 2004 but then 1 mouth later i wanted to install the other 2 but when i click install it says to unistall is there any way to install the others without unistalling the others already installed
wow i remember when i was a nub in UT2004,now,i can put skins in really easy,so as mods,u just put them in the folders in the UT2004 folder itself.like download a ZIP.then when its done go to open the folder like theres a folder called "animations" open the one in the skin folder,then open the animations folder in the folder of UT2004.put the files in the skin one and put em in the other animations folder.if this didnt work then search it on the internet.

:/, that's strange... If you're running on Vista, have you tried running it in a different compatability? Just go into properties and run it for windows XP. If this isn't the case then i don't know :\
yea im running with vista but i dont know how to switch it to run it with XP i had my old pc it was windows XP its worked good but i dont know how to do that on vista

used in ending a sequence of UnrealGold.
in Unreal 95 does not, but in beta97 music name is called Unrealt.

Right click on the shortcut to the game, then select properties, then check the compatability tab, set it to run for windows XP, that should do it...
