RIP both my sweet darlings. The white one passed away in april 2009 (at 15) and the gray one feb 2010 (just shy of 18). He was missing his little buddy terribly. It's true about one passing away shortly after the other does when they are this close. They will never be forgotten and will remain in my heart forever, just as if they were my own children because in many ways, they were.

Yes, they should! Pretty special cats. The white one was born deaf but he's 13 now and just recently lost his vision, too (detached retina - completely blind). He's doing fine otherwise and is learning to cope. I can't even imagine!
