I'm proud to say I've been called an hijo de puta by at least someone at every national team match I've attended in a spanish speaking country (including El Salvador). There is nothing unique there. That said, I can honestly say that only in El Salvador have I had plastic bags with urine thrown at me (and my children). That was not so nice.
