That reminds me of in my Christian group that I go too, there are many accepting people there but there are some that are totally outright against it and I was afraid to speak up recently because it felt like being called out. I came out to another friend and my mother today as being gay and trans and I found out that my friend had told the person that I felt uncomfortable by that he was making some of us uncomfortable. She was so great about it and so was my mom, it's amazing!
