  • When I exercise my nose becomes clearer and I can breath easier. I breath easier because my turbonites have shrunk just a little. At this time my nose is visably thinner just behind the nostrils.

  • When a turbinate reduction is done is the nose smaller on the interior and the exterior, or just the inside?

  • @777LIGHTW Turbinates are on the inside so reducing them should not change the outside or shape of your nose if that is all that is being done.

  • how do they add cartilage, where do they get that?

  • @777LIGHTW

Cartilage can come from your septum (inside the nose) or from the ears or from your own ribs or from cadaver ribs.

  • Hello, I am a fourteen year old girl interested in rhinoplasty. I have done quite a bit of research on nose jobs, and I have a few questions for you if you don't mind answering. I understand that you prefer not to operate on girls until 16 years of age, however, I have read many other sources that say it is appropriate to operate on girls aged 14-15. I feel emotionally prepared to undergo such a procedure, but what are some of the physical signs that show readiness for a girl my age?

  • @sarah27xo

I prefer my rhinoplasty patients to be 16-18 at the least but I have done rhinoplasties on many 14 and 15 year olds are long as they are mentally and emotionally mature, and have the support of their parents and can demonstrate that their physical growth is near completion (meaning if your parents are much taller than you then you should wait a few more years).
