I have a mac an d when i try to download veoh i says that i need quicktime 7 or higher. I have quicktime 7.41 but i wont let me continue with the download.

i had the same problem, heres how to get past that. copy Veoh Player.pkg onto Desktop then do a right-click on it, select "show the content of the package" or something similar. After that, you open "contents" then "resources" and you delete "InstallationCheck". then run the package on the desktop. you should be good to go after that.
