Bhakti Yoga 2/19 : Relation to body types

Round body types have a tendency toward bhakti and devotion. Is it then perhaps not a coincidence that Ganesh (the round "pot bellied one") is invoked at the beginning of each Hindu ritual?

This is so true. I wonder if it applies to animals...

Example: Greyhounds (tall, thin) are called "Windhund" (wind dogs) in German. Little rounder dogs are always looking for affection & fun (emotional).

Yes, the doshas are everywhere, like the elements on which they are based. However, the more an animal is different from us mammals/monkeys the more there may be a difference in how the doshas manifest in certain body types.
