Yes, the doshas are everywhere, like the elements on which they are based. However, the more an animal is different from us mammals/monkeys the more there may be a difference in how the doshas manifest in certain body types.

This is so true. I wonder if it applies to animals...
Example: Greyhounds (tall, thin) are called "Windhund" (wind dogs) in German. Little rounder dogs are always looking for affection & fun (emotional).
