It's funny. In the States you always hear about American shows being adapted from British ones. But I'd never imagine a show like Who's the Boss getting a British makeover. I recognize a lot of the lines from the original.
@drjax1994 Your right about The Upper Hand starting in 1990, remember it from start to finish, used to watch it with my Mum and Sister, on week nights all the time. Who's The Boss, im not familiar with though.
@2Touchstone Actually this is based on Who's the boss which came first this is also using the original american scripts. they still show Who's the boss here.
Honor doesn't seem to have any makeup in this scene, and her eyes could use a little something to help define them....and they look a little odd, pulled up at the outer ends...such big wide open stares...hmm...Honor was easily the most gorgeous classy bond gal that ever walked the screen, and will ever. LIke John Wayne, etc. she should be playing her classic type....dramatic attractive, sexually active strong girls instead of "mom".
Yes it was a remake of Who`s The Boss I think I am soooooooooo glad it is coming onto DVD I have been looking for this for ages. I love Kellie Bright and am a big fan of hers Diana Weston is great and Honor Blackman was a fox and great as the gran. Joe McGann was soo cute the McGann brothers ah need I say anymore.
I used to watch this show in England with my American flatmate. At the time I thought Diana Weston was so hot. After a few shots, my friend recognized this as a remake of an American show. Later I had a chance to watch Who's the Boss in America. I think that house keeper guy Tony with Alyssa Milano was cool. But as for the actress I prefer Diana.
I would've shagged both Diana and Honor !!

@MeBenHalpin It's a super 80's sitcom that this is based off of. I don't know if they showed it in the UK.

"Who's The Boss" has never been shown on national TV here in Britain. But I used to watch it on British cable. Was the guy's name Tony Danza?

I'm sorry, but I prefer the original series... Tony looks much better than Joe and I prefer Judith Light too.
