@AngelicJapan Why do girls where long acrylics that make it hard to do anything productive? Sometimes a girl wants pretty nails, but still wants to be practical. Short nails are a nice in between for that reason. We can have nice nails, but we don't have to worry about them getting in the way of work... and they last long so that even when we do real work (IE, fixing something) they don't chip off the way nail polish does :)

you should mention that you should use 100% acetone polish remover or the nails will take extra long to remove or not remove properly at all. do not use just tape without foil as it will melt the tape and make a even bigger mess and the same goes for the person that asked about saran wrap. it also helps to file the top of your nail some to remove any shine so the polish remover soaks in better.

@jamieson857 hmm...i'm not too sure. foil will definitely hold the moisture of the nail polish remover in much better. you can try it, but i'd recommend getting some foil-it comes in handy in many other ways, too!
