He never opens his eyes while he's singing.  He's really singing to God, not thinking about anything else. :) Nice song.

i think he also always closes his eyes because in the beginning of his singing career, he had awful stage fright.

@Dreamerofbooks well maybe. But hopefully that closing his eyes helped him to only think of God and not worry about anything else.
