This was a high scoring game for two teams that are defensive minded. The momentum just went from one team to the other and it seemed like a big play happened every time.
@themafia306 I agree. This was one of the best playoff games of the last 10 - 15 years. But it doesn't get talked about nearly enough. Each team went back and forth at each other the entire game. Even the premature fireworks, and then the running into the kicker call, made this game memorable.
Back when watching the Titans did not put you too sleep......I went to the Pittsburgh game this year in Pitt and took a nap during the 3rd quarter. Losing to the winless colts and getting nearly beat by the 3rd stringer of the Texans this year was truly an embarrassment, only fools would continue to support an team that has no intention of competing for a Super Bowl......bud adams die please.
@MrTitanman29 Huh? The Titans improved from 6-10 to 9-7 in 2011 and have a good young nucleus as well as veterans. Jake Locker showed very good promise in his limited action. And even in that 6-10 season their offense showed explosiveness quite often. You want a team with no intention of competing in a Superbowl, then root for the Cowboys or Redskins or Cardinals or the Jets.
Even though i'am a diehard 49er fan, I cannot help but admit how much fun those Titan teams from the late 90s to early 2000s were to watch, those Titan teams were the definition of backyard football!
@themafia306 What makes this game amazing is the fact that both offenses were just scoring points and making plays on defense that isn't chopped liver.
It was one hell of a game, it ripped my heart out loosing to the Titans...but I loved McNair from his college days. If the NFL left the rules alone, we would have more good games like this...but we will probably soon have games like that Baylor vs Washington game in 2012..
Steelers got HOSED! Most bullshit game in NFL playoff history.

This game was arguably Steve McNair at his best.

I'm a Steeler fan, but I love Steve McNair. He was the reason why I started watching and following football.
RIP Steve McNair. You are truly missed.
