  • This is what we get for continuing to place our bets on the wrong horse - the Uranium Fuel Cycle - because the defence guys wanted PLUTONIUM FOR A-BOMBS. Now it's entrenched in the human mind and wallet = EPIC FAIL!! We should be moving - with unseemly haste into the era of melt-down proof / non plutonium nuclear..namely the THORIUM LFTR REACTOR. It's proven to work - U.S. genius had one working perfectly in the 50's!!! - Both China and India are working on them NOW!!! we are retards DOH!!

  • But there's some guy (with badge and billy club) behind me at the park, creeping up and telling me to put out my cigarette.

  • Coal is MORE DANGEROUS?!?!?!? Let me dump you into a plutonium field and see how will you suffer then! Lung problems?!? Let's see you get cancer and Kiss of the Dragon death! FUCK!! How can he even debate like this with such a straight face?! He's practically a fucking genocide agent! FUCK!

  • Today - with over a million deaths attributed to Chernobyl nuclear disaster.. want some more?? Thaink again.. there is no safe level of exposure to radiation from these nuclear 'accidents'..

  • This guy is a complete (Nuke industry paid) SHILL... Coal is MORE dangerous, that plutonium, eh? Is anyone still DUMB enough to believe that nonsense? Or that Geothermal, wind, wave, solar, etc. aren't a million times SAFER than NUCLEAR? Nuclear weapons and power are hands down THE most IDIOTIC inventions man has been foolish enough to develop... And anyone involved, should be IMPRISONED without parole, for life... following conviction for crimes against humanity, and high treason... WST

  • @SelfGoverned Before you sharpen your guillotine friend, please check out the OTHER non-idiotic nuclear power source - the melt down proof THORIUM LFTR reactor. We don't have it 'cause it got the bum's rush by the defence guys back in the 50's in favour of the VERY dangerous Uranium Light Water (and Heavy Water) reactors. WHY did we take the dangerous technology road? 'Cuz the Uranium fuel cycle yields Plutonium - critical for making ATOMIC BOMBS. Time to move on with the OTHER nuclear I reckon.

  • This news is close to a month old...things have changed drastically with Fukushima since then...4 melt downs, no chance of "repairing" the plant. Spreading nuclear waste all over the northern hemisphere and contaminating everything, 24/7. Coal is and always has been safer than nuke power...more people die from coal than nuke power...BS. Wait until the millions start dying because of Fukushima.

  • listen up HE SAYS @ 3 minutes into the video ''''' more deaths in one week in china than 25 years of chernobyll and that coal deaths in china in one week according to him adds up to 42''''''' and in chernobyll in 25 years there was way more than 42 deaths dude sounds smart but his basic math is dead wrong so obviously he is as well

  • Coal damage doesn´t last for millons of years, nuclear does. Anyway the only good way is to reduce consumption and learn to live with very little fossil fuels or nuclear energy

  • we should have nuclear energy because coal causes lung cancer? fukn twit. that means neither one of them is any good. how about solar power?

  • @townsendjim

u mean that giant ball of energy that allows us to live? Too many people have no idea what happens when the Sun sets. It just disappears so why bother using Solar power :)

  • @ThisBoyTV sarky lil devil.. lol

  • @townsendjim Its a matter of scale. To feed the energy needs of the US with solar would not only cost billions of dollars, but it cant be done effectively in most of the country (not enough solar energy reaches the ground). It should absolutely be a part of a broader strategy with wind and tidal, but they cant compete with the output of nuclear plants. In short, we should have both going on.

  • George Monbigot is an insane idiot, someone pays him to say the crap he comes out with, can't stand him!!!!!!

  • What is this man blablaing about coal deads in China? If you have terribly bad working conditions and no safity culture you will have victims in all kinds of industry. And what is he blablaing about replacing nuclear plants with coal plants. That's not what anybody it its right mind would propose would we?

  • Very good documentary on YouTube about Chernobyl for those interested.

    watch?v=yiCXb1Nhd1o

  • @wolfgang8u I have gone to HOT SPRINGS SPAS where radon water has radiation in it and I feel GREAT

after a few hours in SPA.

I'm for a positive tone to Japanese re-building and nuclear power repair and decommissioning efforts for nuke power plant. I don't look at Japanese re-building after earthquake disaster recovery in a pessimistic light.

This is a great chance for Japan to re-build and shine on!

So take a chill pill and lighten up.

  • @jibbi4one take a chill pill right not a radioactive isotope pill. Dude your full of bull. your on here saying that there are safe levels of poison for the children. Oh just move the babies out forget all the others they are ok because they are getting close to the age when they will die and then we as nuclear lobbiest can just say that it was natural causes. Over 1 milliion people died from Chernobyl dude. THis is documented by DR's Not energy lobbiest. search Dr Janette Sherman

  • @wolfgang8u Try google search on Texas Tech University on Chernobyl animals and plant life is growing in fact the area around the NPP is a jungle in fact the Ukranian parlimament opened the area for tourists.

No, millions didn't die-fear monger much!

Google search: TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY CHORNOBYL WEBSITE

Dude take a smart pill and smell your finger after you take it out your backside.

  • @jibbi4one Yeah lets listen to the texas power college for our information on the truth of nuclear fatalities Google Dr Janette Sherman (shes a Toxicologist ). She studied the case study of the Russian Scientist that studied the effects of radiation on the victums of chernobyl. The Soviet Scientist was imprisoned for his findings when he went to government officials with the truth of effects of Nuclear radiation on the inhabitants wild life and eccology. 1 million dead and counting.

  • Caldicott doctor of slanted science for political gain she pioneered feeding BS to media sources years ago-still does. Trouble is lamestream media still seeks her BS info. as real nuclear science SHAME on media for spreading lies

  • @jibbi4one

Which Nuclear Power company are u employed by?

  • @ThisBoyTV Which oil companies are U paid off from to discredit nuke companies who provide safe power @ a reasonable cost to the public? GO SMELL A BP DEEP HORIZON FINGER!!

  • @jibbi4one

    oil ..ugh

u might want to do some reading about all the radioactive waste dumps for starters

  • @jibbi4one are you retarded? we haven't had any news from any media sourses in months...she is brave for coming forth and letting people know just how bad this is!

  • @creedstat Dr. Helen Caldicott is a anti-nuke lefty shill for the Hydrocarbon Industry and gov't subsidized green industries who have recently gone bankrupt.

  • This should be on MSM 24/7. It's a global catastrophe and a global problem.

  • @SkyBlueAugust

An ongoing touch of plutonium and the radioactive isotope iodine. Then we have burns, cancer and gentic mutations associated with the release of high energy photons or gamma rays. Other than that it must be good for us...

  • Dr Helen Caldicott is filled with care and courage. The Dr pointed out there is no such thing as safe levels of exposure to radiation. Its not like drinking to much champain and you will get drunk. It takes 1 micro particle to kill you. Damage control by the Nuclear lobiest with this talk of safe levels? Oh go ahead drink the water. Here have some glow in the dark Sushi to go with it. Now you really got that Hypro Glow. Ladies will really notice you as you glow in the dark intensive care ward

  • @wolfgang8u Sorry, Radiation Hormesis shows THERE IS a level of radiation that is healthy for body.

Because it stimulates DNA repair. If any level (LNT model) of radiation is bad why are human dwellers in mountain altitude, Iran, Brazil and India (@ 12000μSv/yr.) localities of high radiation population proliferate for millions of years?

Check your cuckoo clock -it's running slow.

  • @jibbi4one There are no such thing as safe levels of man made nuclear plant radiation. Just one micro particle will kill you and even mututate your geneological traits. Its like this. Dr Helen Caldicott covers the effects of Nulcear Power plant radiation on the body in this video. She goes over each radioactive Isotopes effect on each part of the body. If you dont believe her here is another Dr Janette Sherman. She has videos on YT also. SHe is a toxicologist that is not on the payroll of nuke!

  • @wolfgang8u Dude, U engage in fear monger like some cross between Soylent Green and AGW global warmers on steroids. Pu238O2 is fine if you know how to manufacture w/ it safely there's barley enough to detect around Fukushima. Next time you see mercury messenger-Pluto deep horizon-Saturn Cassini spacecraft images think plutonium. Looking at a micro particle does not kill U but a pandemic flu virus in lungs @ 80 nanometers (1 nanometer = 0.001 micrometer) killed millions of people DEAD in 8 months

  • @jibbi4one 1 million dead from chernobyl. No no problem nothing to worry about just drink the safe levels of radiation be my quest. I doubt any of the owners live anywhere down wind of any of these things. SInce 1952 - 2011 is 59 years. There has been 35 accidents at nuclear plants. 59 years divided by 35 = 1.68 this means we can expect a near melt down every 1.68 years by the laws of average. Google list of nuclear accidents. I think some are trying to fear minimiz. What do you think?

  • Corporate masters defending their own mistakes. Thats all. Nothing here guys

  • Cold is not dangerous then nuclear power plant. This guy is a joke, how can he sit there and make such claim. When so many lives are taken as he speak. I wouldn't even have the nerve to even promote nuclear power plants period. If he so like it, then let him go to Fukushima and help them clean up the mess, to see how it effect his health afterwards. Perhaps then, he will tell different story then would he not.

  • all through Earth's history, there has been "climate change"...dude is weak.
