Why do you believe the removed sign was non-compliant? My view (and I stand to be corrected - but please tell me!) is that it was in use in exactly the correct position and for the correct reason. "Turn Left".
If I am right, then its removal is surely a deliberate attempt to entrap motorists/riders and Westminster Council should be challenged for their explanation.
@tonbretonbre If I recall correctly, the sign removed was a straight arrow pointing left. As far as I can ascertain from the TSM, that sign is used to indicate a one way street. Conduit St is two way. Although, giving drivers a hint as to what they should do, I do not believe it is the correct sign for the purpose. However, I'm not a lawyer so if you know any better let me have your reference source. Another nail in the coffin would be nice.
@LFAJRB Thank you. I had not known that Conduit Street was two-way. If it is, then, as you say, removal of the sign (with straight arrow pointing left) was appropriate. H o w e v e r, if (and I suppose that is a big "if") Westminster Council wanted to ensure compliance, rather than seek to increase fines income, they could have supplemented the current signage with a "No Right Turn" sign at the actual junction and even a "turn left" arrow marking on the road surface. Hope this helps!
@scotiawhiskers We certainly saw a lot of their vehicles enter Sherwood St from Lwr James when they were enforcing that as an offence (see Golden Goose Square video). In fact, we have video of them doing so on here too.
Pls pm me or post on NoToMob.co.uk as we are looking for a case to take to PATAS with full legal support from PCN-killer, Nigel Wise, et al ;-)

Excellent work, wonder if any of Wastemonster's own unsuspecting staff from any departments have been caught by their own scam teams?
