I'm pretty sure I was at this gig... did you play Portrait of Mahalia Jackson? I remember being very moved by it and I wonder if there's any chance you have the recording of that piece?

@mrsbike Thanks, yes we did play that tune. Planning on recording in the Spring '12, however you can find Duke's original recording of that piece on the album entitled "Duke Ellington: The New Orleans Suite." It's a fantastic album.
