@aertru Gracias, si, I know the sidestick is played in the verses but I didn't want to play it that way, I prefer the sound of the snare rimshot. What you are bringing up is what is known as a "non-essential" - something that doesn't make or break the groove or feel of the song. Good to hear from Mexico, I understood your point and I admire anyone who can communicate in a language other than their native one. Gracias, appreciate you checking out the video.
@MrZoneme Perhaps Under The Bridge, but I don't know when, I'm working on some more covers of Hendrix and also recording some tracks for an album, so don't know when I'll get to it.
@rhythmantic ahh under the bridge is so much fun to play, I hope you get a chance to post it! And I totally agree with you that Chad Smith is awesome to play along to; not too technically difficult, but his groove is amazing!
@Dryused24 No! They both have their place, similar to an electric or an acoustic guitar. Each has it's own good and bad. For doing covers and laying down drum tracks for paying customers while living in an apartment, the edrums rule. For sensitivity, feel and touch, acoustic drums are best. The ideal thing is to put triggers on the acoustic drums and have the best both have to offer.
@67scarred Thanks. Sorry but I can't take requests as my "to-cover" list is quite long. Perhaps in a couple of years, God willing, after I covered all that's on that list will I be able to take a request.
@daryl2296 Thanks, I've played in 100s of bands. These days I'm playing in church and a jazz band and recording drum tracks in my home studio. Thanks for watching, subscribe if you haven't, thanks. Gibraltar, that's got to be an interesting place to live.
hey man really nice cover! i was wondering if you could tell me that pattern you use in the fill at 1:15? i can´t figure out where the kick goes, rock on!
R (snare) L (upper tom) R (floor tom) bass drum L (snare).
The RLR is a 16th note triplet coming off the "and" of 4 followed by the bass drum on beat 1 followed by the L snare hit on the "and" of 1, followed by two 8th note bass drum strokes ("and 2") and finishing with two 1/4 note L strokes on the snare on the 3rd & 4th beat of the measure.
Hope that helps, and thanks for checking out the video.
Great performance. I Have a question. My son recorded the same cover with drums, however we can't upload the video, because the people of youtube say that we don't have the copyright. How do you that without this problem?, thanks for your answer
@ericcarr21 Of course I am, Thanks, you're very kind. I was just reading about the RHCP in this month's Rolling Stone and how they keep on after so many guitar player changes.
@rhythmantic well, i was looking for some covers that used eletric drums, then i found "smells like teens spirit" that u cover, however i started watching all of your vids! hahah, keep rockin'!!
@MattLuklin Thank you. I paid approximately $3200 USD for the Roland TD-12 kit, then I upgraded to the TD-20 module and Expansion Card for another $2400 USD. Also through in another pad ($300+) and cymbal ($100 +).
However, the sounds your hearing in this cover are from Addictive Drums ($200+)
@rhythmantic All Right, thank you to have answered my question. I find that the sound of this drum on this video is really excellent, I love !! but, it is too expensive for me, d'oh ^^!

@fannymachine Thanks so much for sharing that. I appreciate your encouraging comments. Well you know it's enjoyable to play drums and make music, so uh a smile will come out, especially when I find a good drum kit that matches the song well and have a good mix helps too. I'll look into the Cinderella tune and if I think I could do a decent cover of it, I'll add it to the list. thanks again my friend.
@RhythmRoom1960 Hey thanks for being the 1st to comment on this, actually I did 7 videos in one day, but it was suggested to me that I don't release all my videos in one shot, but release them gradually one at a time...I'm not sure about this, but I've taken my friend's advice.
