I think it was nice that they didn't have Q in the movies out of respect for the actor that passed away, I think 2 movies was enough time. Plus James bond needs to stop freerunning/parkour-ing and use some gadgets, so a new Q is needed.

I would like a young Q, but if the go with that, they damn sure better remake the character and change the dynamic between Q and Bond. It has been like Bond pretty much bosses around Q and that Q sort of like submits to Bonds macho aura and just goes with whatever Bond does. With a young Q, looking as good as this guy does I don't see this working any good. He should be changed to have a big ego of his own and he shouldn't let Bond of doing anything he doesn't like!
