actually,yu yu hakusho for the 3do borrows the same damn engine from that awful crap called dragonball z ultimate battle 22...like what...even though yu yu and dragonball is awesome..why in the hell did they have to borrow the engine from another game..that was bandai and this is tomy we're talking about...moronic robbers
Play the Playstation version of Primal Rage...There were SO many crappy ports that everyone thinks this game is bad, and it was old news by the time this port came about, but let me tell you, it is FUN. While it's missing SOME animations from the Arcade, the characters are just as large and I actually think it's better due to more blood. :P
I remember back in the day when these systems were the most expensive consoles out there along with the CDI. People knew better than to pay tons of money for only graphics and no game play.
Austinmackert (check his channel) is trying to say the 3DO version has a lower frame rate than the Sega CD version.
Notice how the Sega CD version has fewer frames, smaller characters, less colors, no zooming, distorted voices, an entire missing level, and no Earthquake.
Yu Yu Hakusho didn't get popular in the United States until around the early 2000s when it got put on Cartoon Network... although, I remember Ultraman from when I was growing up in the 80s and early 90s... so I found out about him somehow.
Of course, I was also a Gamera fan back then, so I think I was a weird kid.
But right on about Samurai Shodown. I've ironically only played it with the original FZ-1 pads, so I always got confused when people talked about control issues. Shodown is awesome.
I got the feeling he was known a little in America too. I think there was also a SNES game and more recently a Xbox game by here in Europe I think Yu Yu get's no coverage.
3DO had the worst gamepad I have ever seen, but it had the best system for that time

I'm from the UK and rented Ultraman as a kid on betamax lol! I enjoyed it. Don't think it was ever on TV though.

3DO YYH is not so bad, but the Genesis one is far better, and that is the best YYH game I think.

It sounds like the sound designers stole part of smoke on the water in primal rage.

I do everything on a regular 3DO. The only emulator I am aware of is Freedo. (Google it :) )

Yu Yu Hakusho is known here in Brazil. Very good anime. And the game looks good too!
