I have looked into this and it seems both POHM and POME are correct. I have looked into this and it seems both POHM and POME are correct. 'POHM' comes from the colonial times when prisoners had their uniforms decorated with the 'POHM' Property Of Her Majesty' badge and 'POME' is more modern (according to Geoffry Boycott) which makes 'POME' Property Of Mother England OR POMEgranite (as in red as a POMEgranite when an Englishman gets too much of the Aussie sun!!). This makes both correct.
